Jake waved his sword sideways to deflect one of the axes of the Ogre lord, while he bend his body downwards to avoid the second one. The situation was getting out of hand. He was being hit in places his body was not able to guard against.
"Is it related to my reaction time?" Jake asked.
"Well, it is a complex mixture of many things, but yes, reaction time does play a huge role in this," DELTA said. "The battle experience is going to improve eventually and this might be one of those experiences that could induce steady growth for you. You should also duck onto the right side."
Jake was hit on his left side and his body was bashed into the nearest wall. He vomited blood due to the internal injuries he had suffered.
"Why is the situation like this? The boss monster isn't supposed to be like this. The power difference is too huge for it to be considered the same dungeon." Jake said.
