Jake rushed in and began the attack process. He decided to take an offensive approach this time since he had to test his strength. Since an enemy had hidden in the shadows and decided to strike him, he was going to have their plan fail while increasing his strength.
The rewards were just one reason he wanted to do dungeon runs. Another reason was his devouring capabilities which allowed him to ingest monsters and process them as energy and physical nutrition. This was going to be a bountiful experience.
Jake managed to find a pair of Jadite bears roaming around the outskirts. He didn't waste any time, took his sword out and gun in the other hand and attacked them. The best managed to locate him, but their response time and size mismatch resulted in Jake getting the advantage of the first attack. He immediately used Sword Soul Method that he obtained from Artemis.
