Lu Shen opened his eyes eight hours after the whole incident. Although his wounds were healed, his body ached a lot. he somehow managed to push through and look around, just to find Jake looking at him.
"What the fuck is wrong with you?" Jake asked." the first encounter wasn't enough, so you rushed in there after getting a little stronger than before."
"It was a well-thought plan. I wanted to try out my strength against the fighters in the D-rank area. I did win many matches." Lu Shen replied.
" It was a fucking hoax. That guy played you like a puppet and you danced into his palms." Jake said in an irritated tone.
" I truly went there of my own volition. I wanted to test my strength and find areas where I can develop myself." Lu Shen said.
" Go on a dungeon hunt then," Jake said. " That's the best live experience you could ask for."
