Jake woke up and found himself lying on the ground in one corner of the training ground. He slowly raised his upper body, but the pain he felt from his jaw bone, his chest and his entire upper body was unbearable. He was about to lie back down when he heard a sound.
"It is about time you wake up. We would have missed your second sparring session." Robert spoke while looking at Jake.
"Could I take some more rest?" Jake asked.
"Well, if it were before, you would have. But we are not always so lucky you see." Robert grabbed Jake from the collar and threw him back to the ground. Jake almost got buried in the ground. He managed to stand back up with minimal effort.
"Pick your second opponent," Robert said in a rude tone.
"I pick you," Jake said without even thinking about the matter carefully.
