Jake's figure blurred and appeared right beside the Groove Toad King. When he did appear beside it, an unsuccessful attempt at dodging was made. Jake managed to land a hit and send the Groove Toad King flying towards the other end. The Groove Toad King managed to stabilise his body with ease and sent a beam of poison gas from his mouth.
Jake was mid-air and couldn't dodge the attack, resulting in him coming into direct contact with the poison beam. It blasted him towards the other end. The message started to pop.
"The host has come in contact with a lethal poison. Pill ingestion is advised." The system sent a message. Jake didn't care about the news and used the Qi shield to barge through the poison beam and rush at the Groove Toad King's body. As soon as he moved closer to its head, Jake used a frog leap, took his sword out and thrust down while using Qi to boost his strength.
