"Mr. Astor, I think you misunderstood what I meant. I purposely came up here because I just wanted to tell you that I'm really happy to see that you're fine. Also, thank you for helping me again just now."

There was silence in the room. Augustus had assumed that she would question him about why he had lied to her… and then they would have a huge fight.

However, what he was worried about did not happen. Instead, he received such warm words.
