Chapter 76 - Taking A Walk

"I'll listen to you. You have to take good care of yourself. When you're fully recovered, let me pick you up." Matthew didn't insist on looking for Shannon. He hung up after saying that.

Shannon stared at her phone in a daze. She had a hunch that Matthew had met with some trouble.

However, since he was unwilling to tell her, she didn't want to ask him anymore.

Shannon looked out of the window. It was autumn, and the leaves had already started to fall. The weather was starting to turn cold. If only she could go out for a walk now.

At the thought of this, Shannon pulled the blanket away and walked to the door.

Perhaps because Max knew that she wouldn't leave, he arranged only for one person to stay at the entrance, and coincidentally, the guard went to the washroom.

Shannon draped a shawl over her shoulders and walked out. No matter what, the scenery in the hospital couldn't compare to the scenery outside.
