"You go ahead and get in the car, I'll put the luggage away!"
Edward spoke gently and softly to Mallia Mamet. Unfortunately, he was far from George Flack, who couldn't hear him at all. Mallia thought to herself that since George had seen them, he would probably follow, so there would be no need to worry.
"Okay."
Mallia said and began to get into the car, while Edward opened the trunk. Putting three suitcases in was indeed a bit difficult, so he studied them for a while from below.
In the dim light, George caught a glimpse of the man's silhouette. Why did it look so much like Edward?
George's hands tightened around the steering wheel. He couldn't quite believe it. If it really was Edward, what did those days in the United Kingdom mean?
So, George rubbed his eyes forcefully, even making them see stars, waiting for them to recover. When he could see clearly again, he took a closer look at the man in front of him. The red taillights made it clear as day.
It was, indeed, Edward!
