This time, Jack Andrews didn't wear a hat.
He was waiting right at the door, and Aria Grant noticed him as soon as she got there. Wasn't he the same person who had delivered the package to her before?
As for whether or not he was the person who grabbed her wrist yesterday, Aria couldn't be sure. That day, all her sensations had been overshadowed by fear from the unknown.
When things became clear, Aria wasn't afraid at all.
"Was it him?"
Aria pulled at Juliet's sleeve. Juliet had planned to walk a bit closer before telling Aria, but to her surprise, Aria spoke up first. Had she stopped being afraid?
"It's him, don't be afraid, we are all here with you!" Juliet said, holding Aria's hand tightly.
Aria tilted her head and smiled back at Juliet.
"Was it you who scared me yesterday?" Aria asked calmly.
Jack's heart raced, and he didn't dare to look at Aria. In a very quiet voice, he muttered an affirmative.
