Just now she was afraid of the person in front of her, but now she was only afraid of the thing inside the box.
Thinking there was someone at home, Aria felt much more at ease. She would wait and open the package with Ivy.
"Okay, is it all good? Can I go in now?"
Aria's voice was soft, as if she was waiting for that person to give the go-ahead.
"Alright, thank you very much!"
What's the big deal? Aria had long felt that she was the real sucker.
Aria hurried into the house.
She wanted to look back but dared not to.
She didn't know what had scared her. Was it that the person's hand had grabbed hers? Such behavior was certainly strange, or maybe it was that person's voice?
Aria quickly shook her head. She couldn't think about what had just happened.
Scared out of her wits, Aria didn't dare to look at the paper box in her hand. She just thought of finding Ivy and then opening it together.
Fortunately, Ivy's door wasn't locked, so Aria went straight in.
