George Flack, of course, didn't deliberately look at Mallia Mamet, but even with his head down, he could still catch a glimpse of her.
"Seeing you have such a good appetite really makes me happy, so why don't you think about it, what would you like for lunch? I'll start getting ready!"
Mallia Mamet didn't rush to speak, choosing instead to take a large sip of soup from her bowl.
"Haven't finished eating yet and already thinking about what to eat next? Isn't that a bit too eager?"
Well, George had thought everything was fine, but he hadn't expected Mallia to say something like that.
Seeing Mallia intently eating her noodles, George said nothing more, but he resolved to have a proper talk with Thomas Yates later.
Distracted by his thoughts, George quickly finished off the noodles in his own bowl, drinking all the soup without leaving a drop, and then headed for the kitchen.
"Just leave your bowl on the small table when you're done; I'll come clean up in a bit."
