"Anything is fine, as long as it's pasta."
George Flack had intended to turn around but still chatted with Mallia Mamet for a bit.
"Do you think it could have been someone who arranged this in advance, like Thomas Yates? But I never would have guessed Thomas Yates to be such a thoughtful person, to even prepare a whole cabinet of pasta!"
When Mallia Mamet heard about someone preparing in advance, she was clutching her heart, worried whether George had discovered something. Had he found out about her and Edward becoming more intimate?
But as she listened to George analyzing Thomas Yates, she breathed a sigh of relief. It seemed he hadn't thought of Edward!
"Who knows?"
Mallia Mamet responded indifferently, actually wishing George would hurry up and cook the pasta instead of continuing to talk here. She really wanted to turn over in bed!
"Alright, isn't it good that there's food? Why are you still standing here? Hurry up, I want fried eggs too, don't forget it!"
