Mallia Mamet casually pointed, and only then did George Flack realize that the room was much larger than he had thought.
"This is our room, as the budget is limited, so we are put in such a big room together."
How absurd, it seemed that he hadn't completely misjudged Thomas Yates after all. George thought to himself, was the budget really that tight? If it was, they could have simply stayed in separate, ordinary rooms—there was no need for such a big house!
If they had to book such a large room, why wasn't it Thomas Yates staying with Mallia Mamet?
"So we have to continue living together in this room for the next few days?"
Watching Mallia Mamet nod, George knew nothing would change, and he had no right to demand anything. He just swore to himself that for the next few days, he would not touch a drop of alcohol.
