Why go to such lengths?
With worries eased, George Flack nonchalantly looked at the information inside. Perhaps Thomas Yates in front had noticed George's detachment.
So Thomas spoke to George, "If you can't keep reading, then stop. Looking at you now, all listless, you're suppose to be by my side, representing the face of our company."
The company's face? How was he, so rough around the edges, suddenly the face of the company? George really couldn't understand what Thomas meant by telling him this.
"Recline your seat and take a rest, it should still be twenty minutes before we reach the airport. This way you can regain some energy."
George truly hadn't expected Thomas to care for him so much, and wondered what he had done to deserve such attention. Why was he, who had always tread carefully in the company, now being cared for so much?
George found it all very strange.
