George Flack belatedly smelled the aroma, and indeed, he could wait. He decided it was better to discuss everything after they finished eating.
"Great! Let's eat first!"
Aria Grant's face was particularly calm. It seemed that George didn't care about her parcel, but it no longer mattered. The more dejected George was, the worse Aria felt.
"You go wash your hands first. I just need to toss the sauce, and it'll be ready!"
Aria's hands were still wet, so she pushed George with her wrist.
"Let me help you. Didn't you say the sauce I made was delicious?" George smiled goofily, hoping to lighten the mood.
Aria stood there and said nothing more.
George thought if he could spend more time with Aria, he should just do so. He was about to go on a business trip soon, something beyond his control…
"Add a bit more vinegar. I like it sour nowadays!" Aria watched George adjusting the sauce and spoke again.
"Okay, do you think this is enough?"
