The two of them played around a bit more, and Ivy Grant walked Sophia Brown to the door, then felt a bit of concern.
"Will your aunt come to pick you up? Do you want to give her a call? Or I can ask my dad to come down and take you home."
Of course, Sophia Brown had her own plans and was pulling Ivy Grant outside.
"Oh, it's okay, please don't bother Uncle. I was thinking, it's so late and Uncle didn't mention cooking dinner, so he must be really sad. It's better to let Uncle rest properly now. Just walk with me for a bit, and I can hail a taxi up ahead."
"Hey, slow down." Ivy Grant had come out in fluffy slippers, and Sophia Brown, eager to get home, was pulling her forward. But Ivy couldn't keep up at all, almost running out of her shoes.
Luckily, Sophia Brown was fortunate; as soon as she got to the main road, she hailed a taxi and got in right away.
"Hurry back, I'll message you when I'm home!" Sophia Brown said, rolling down the car window and talking to Ivy Grant.
