"So you're upset just because I didn't compliment you... Of course you look great! But yesterday, I noticed that your ears were all red and your hands were freezing. More than appearance, I was concerned if you were cold!"
Suddenly, Aria Grant didn't know what to respond. She had been angrily blaming George Flack, but all he had been thinking about was whether she was cold or not.
As she calmed down, Aria recalled yesterday's dialogue. It seemed like George took the initiative to be concerned about her comfort. However, she was fixated on why he didn't compliment her.
"I'm sorry, I was really wrong. I shouldn't have assumed you didn't care about me. Moreover, you didn't appease me yesterday, so of course I was upset!"
When Aria apologized, she gently rubbed against George in his arms, like a kitten, knowing George wouldn't mind.
What Aria said was seemingly absurd. She claimed to have been upset while sleeping soundly through the night. But it was George who was truly suffering.
