Aria Grant was there, struggling for the last time, telling herself that she must have overthought it. It couldn't possibly be that Leah Wilson knew what George Flack liked to eat. After all, Leah had only just met George. How could she possibly know what George enjoyed eating?
George most likely wouldn't have told Leah directly because he knew Aria was coming. How could he have managed to embarrass Aria in that way?
"The waiter couldn't have possibly given me such recommendations. If they were to suggest dishes, it wouldn't be these ones," Leah spoke very slowly.
Every word was spoken so slowly that Aria was left in a state of disarray.
Seeing Aria silent, Leah continued, "Come on, eat quickly. The food isn't good when it gets cold."
But Aria couldn't eat at all, and she couldn't bear to listen to what Leah was saying, so she moved her chair backward.
