As soon as he said it wasn't appropriate, Joshua Mamet stopped talking.
Aria Grant glanced at George Flack while listening. She alone was aware of what he had done for her.
Perhaps because George was beside her at the moment, Aria did not feel comfortable saying anything. She stood up and walked off to the side.
Seeing Aria walk away from him, George's heart skipped a beat.
At this point, he had no idea what Joshua had told Aria over the phone, or why she wanted to avoid saying something in his presence.
