George Flack stood up from the sofa, feeling numb all over, with a large indentation left on the couch.
As if he were in his own home, George didn't hold back. He walked to the dining table and asked groggily, "Where are the forks and plates?"
At that moment, Aria Grant was extremely frightened, afraid that Ivy Grant would start arguing with George, so she hurriedly got up to fetch the forks and plates from the kitchen area.
She gently placed the forks and plates on the table, deliberately placing them a little distance away from herself and Ivy.
Without saying a word, Aria sat back down and focused on eating, hoping that George would take a few bites and leave quickly.
It seemed like George remembered something, furrowing his brow. Did he really discuss those things with Aria while he was in a drowsy state? How could he have been so reckless?
He had only taken a nap, so why did it feel like a big drunken event?
