Thinking about this, she suddenly didn't feel guilty or afraid of her deal with Satan anymore. As long as she could have George, she was willing to pay any price.
"Mom, what do we need to prepare for going to the amusement park tomorrow?"
Looking at Dylan's excited face, she suddenly felt a little heartbroken. This was the first time she was taking him out for fun. In the past, she had always tried not to cause trouble for George, so mother and son rarely appeared in public.
It took her a long time to bring up the idea of Dylan going to school, thinking he would refuse, but he just said he didn't care.
He never even remembered Dylan's birthday; every time she had to remind him, and then he would symbolically bring home a cake. More often, he would have someone deliver the cake, along with a perfunctory "Happy Birthday."
"We don't need to prepare anything for tomorrow. Just get a good night's sleep tonight."
