Sasha Polly is part of an underdeveloped world where magic abilities that are developed at the ages of 12+ is the source of hierarchy, and she was at the bottom. During her childhood Sasha had always had a friendly personality which naturally attracted friends to siblings in her poor orphanage she called home. However everything changed when she received her ability, other known as a "charge", at the age of 13, which had essentially given her the ability to detach herself from reality and become a husk which inflicts the sum of Sasha's full physical pain onto the closest body. Unfortunately, due to her lack of training, consciousness and restraint, Sasha unknowingly attacks and injures the younger orphan causing a great rip to occur in her patent-less family. Hearing rumours of a pain-fuelled weapon, the local Nobel, Count Grey adopts Sasha with greed clouding his mind, and intent to raise a killer. Months after the wealthy count's "training", a group of human traffickers raid Sasha's home-town for poor young children, including her siblings. Now stronger and more scarred than ever before, Sasha makes an escape from the Count's mansion to go search for her kidnapped siblings, unknowing of the repercussions of her actions.
