What a fool I was to think I could ever amount to something in my life. As I gazed upon the muzzle pointed to my head , I was scared , afraid yet sad. Sad that I would never be able to accomplish anything. To think all it took was a review to end my life.
Hi, My name is Jon Anders , a simple young man seeking love ;well not quite since I believe I deserve none. I am a critic , well I criticize everything , food, people, life ,anything. I first started criticizing as a hobby , I started by going to restaurants and posting on the internet about how terrible their food was or how bad the places looked.
Slowly I became famous, a single review form me could end a business or a persons life. I was surprised and happy about how powerful I was on the internet , till I made a review on a certain restaurant. It was owned by a famous politician, Mr. James Borleg , a weird guy but a powerful one.
I made a statement about how his restaurant used a certain drug in their meals claiming it is nutritious and healthy. I backed up my claim by sneaking into their restaurant in the middle of the night , and taking photos of the drug they used. It was their secret ingredient for making their food so delicious, they said. Rather it was a drug that became popular on the dark web dure to enhancing certain flavours but the side effect was mind poisoning .Basically, continuous intake of the drug causes the brain to lose its functioning slowly killing people within a years time. A silent killer and very deadly since its hard to be traced and it looks and tastes just like salt. The only way to tell them apart was to pass ultra violent rays which make this drug turn yellow in an instant.
This drug is known as C17 , after my review was made people decided to make riots at the restaurant and people started targeting Mr. James and talk shows discussed whether my claim was true or not, the people demanded that the Food and Drugs Authority(FDA) should look into this claim. They did and the results said that C17 was indeed being used in the meals and Mr. James was arrested and trialed. He was imprisoned for 15 years . I wa shocked that my review was able to destroy a politician's life in one week.
Luckily i believed since people only knew me only on the internet and not in real life i would be okay. In a weeks time I received a call from an unknown number saying that my days are numbered and i shouldn't have put my nose into someone business. I grew worried and scared I contacted the police and told them that I received a death threat and i may die. They told me not to worry and if the person calls again i should immediately call them after. For a second i felt safe when i heard a knock on my door. It was late in the night and who would be looking for me. I was an orphan and an introvert so i had basically no friends and family members whatsoever . Immediately asked who was it and there was no reply.
