Luke had continued his journey after he had defeated the frostbird, he planned on going to the Insecta Empire. He walked aimlessly as he only obeyed the directions of [Wise Sage] for he wanted to reach his destination through a short and safe path. While travelling, he reached a field on which grew many stands of a purple coloured flower. Luke didn't waste time as he had already devoured twelve flowers. Soon he began to have a stomach upset, his eyesight turned blurry.
[Wise Sage]: What you ate were blamery violets. Blamery violets are flowers with weak poison effects as they can't kill someone. The effects do not reach a high danger level so it is best to eat these flowers so as to acquire [Poison Resistance]. As you continue, you may even evolve it till it reaches its strongest evolution, [Poison Immunity].
[Wise Sage]'s words were like the go-for-it words that Luke was waiting for as even though the flowers were poisonous, they had a sweet nectar taste which illuminated his taste bonds. The flower reminded him of the honey he was fed during his early age, his 'mother' used to feed him the honey. Even though the queen bore all the bees, 'mothers' were assigned to look after them until they reached the adult age which was sixty days old. Luke began to remember his early childhood, he began to have short flashbacks of his friends and business partners. He continued to eat his poisonous flowers while bearing the blurriness and stomach pain.
[Poison Resistance] acquired.
Back in the hive, a conference was held by the 'Bee Stinger'. This conference was attended by the Queen Bee, Grand Marshal, Grand Duke, Grand Executive, Grand Moderator and the Three Elders. This eight important persons sat as they waited for the proposer of the conference to begin the meeting. After all had settled down, the Grand Marshal stood and began the meeting.
"As you all may know, some days ago a bee was exiled from our hive for violating Bee Code: 127993 - D. Through close surveillance, I have gotten information that this same bee has violated Bee Code: 000001 - A. Bee Code: 000001 - A states that any citizen found studying or undercovering the secret of the royal family shall be killed. And do not forget that his first crime was a capital offence but he wasn't punished by death instead his punishment was lightened which violates Bee Code: 147823 - F which ensures equality before the law", the Grand Marshal said as he was looking at his listeners trying to convince them. "So, what are you saying? Are you trying that I, your queen, have been biased lately?", the Queen Bee said while releasing little aura. "Order! Let there be order!!", the Grand Moderator said to calm the queen down. "Grand Marshal Andrew, you know that you are accusing the queen and we would begin an investigation on the matter", the 1st Elder said calmly. "Before we forget, you said that the royal family's secret is being undercovered. Should we be worried about this or have you put measures in place", the 3rd Elder said.
The room fell silent as it was the first time the 3rd Elder had spoke in 3000 days, he seemed to have seen this rule very important.
"I would have put measures together if the queen gave me her permission", the Grand Marshal responded. "I will not let anything bad to befall my king", the queen answered not caring of whatever she said. "So the queen's judgement was biase", the 2nd Elder said.
Everyone had gone silent as they thought of what measure they should take. Soon, the Grand Moderator announced that there would be a vote to take up an action. After a few minutes, they all put their votes into a container.
"Guess it is a tie as the Queen has 4 votes and Grand Marshal 4 votes", the Grand Duke announced as he had finished counting the votes. "As you all may know, this tie can only be broken by the 9th member of the Bee Stinger - the King Bee", the queen said with a smug on her face. "Do not forget that ...", the Grand Marshal said with pride completely destroying the queen's smug.
Luke had arrived into the territory of the Insecta Empire, he had eaten all the poisonous flowers which enabled [Poison Resistance] to evolve into [Poison Detoxification]. He also acquired [Poison Accumulation], the poisonous flowers that he had eaten were broken into toxins which flowed in Luke's body. With [Poison Accumulation], all the poison toxins were gathered together to form a series of toxins which could form a new poison when mixed correctly. He was about to walk through the empire's gate until a sword was drawn before him.
"You shall not pass, no bees are allowed", an ant knight said as he blocked Luke's path with a sword.
Luke didn't want to waste time with this ant so he began his attack, he combined both [Fire Manipulation] and [Ice Manipulation] to form the Bi - Skill: [Frozen Hell]. The ant couldn't move his body after just that one attack but Luke didn't let his guard down as the same guard appeared from behind.
"Do you expect such an inferior skill compared to my [Essence Remodelling] can win me", the guard said proudly as he raised his weapon one last time before falling to the ground.
[Wise Sage]: [Poison Accumulation] has paved a way for the toxins to be in his body as you two touched when he performed his surprise attack.
From [Wise Sage]'s announcement, Luke could understand that he had won this fight so he took the sword from the dying ant and helped him with going to Arlesey, the heavens to the insects. When the ant had finally died, Luke ate him up as if it were a hobby to him.
