CHAPTER 2 { SEED OF THE ANCIENT MAGICAL CIVILIZATION}
We could hear sounds of beast breathing but on a much larger scale, it sounded like a truck engine starting.
"What was that?" someone from behind yelled.
Sam:" Shut up, you idiot"
But it was too late. I saw a vertical lizard-like pupil the size of a grown man opening before I could yell to run,a splash of hot liquid came on one side of my face. I tried to wipe it instinctively and saw my hand covered in blood. I knew the person beside me had lost his head.
Leader : I could see well in the dark and heard one of my teammates yelling. I saw a vertical pupil and a whip of a tail moving faster than I could respond brust the head of one of my teammates.
I knew if we don,t leave this place now we would all be dead, this monster was not something even an s class party could defeat not to mention us if we could get out alive it will be a miracle and one thing i noticed that there was something or someone, sleeping on a bed behind the monster and i knew by instinct if that person wakes up even this scroll can't save us.
" everyone come in range we are leaving this place"
I opened my scroll to tear but at that moment one of my teammate was hit to the side and crashed into the wall"
I had no time to lose to him. I could save the remaining ones and I tore the scroll.
Sitth; I felt something hit me from the side and I flew like a broken kite and crashed into the wall. The left side of my ribs have punctured into the lungs. My totally broken left legs bent in an unnatural angle, I felt pain like crazy. I knew I was going to die if someone did not heal me, but at that time I saw the leader tore the scroll and with a wight pillar light everyone left.
Until now my eyes were used to the darkness and I could see the colossal sized creature sleeping not even minding me that I was alive I knew it was over i didn't had hatred towards my leader for leaving me behind because it was right thing to do but i knew one person was happy to see me die, slowly slowly me eyes was going blurry at that time i finally focused on the transparent panel,
Something was written on it i tried to focus,
" Requesting host to find energy source for binding system and healing host, Accept MISSION : find the energy source near you"
REWARD : FULL HEALTH AND RESTORATION OF SYSTEM"
I thought I was hallucinating , But as a dying person I had nothing to lose.

I tried to move my broken neck to see a lake at the location given by the screen,
" Is the location wrong??"
But nothing changed. I chose to follow the screen and with the only bone that was not broken, I tried to move my body towards the lake . Some trial of blood and dirt formed by the movement of my body. I came in front of the lake and I could see some light inside the lake.
I looked at the screen and the lake and thought " what ever you are you better be right"
And with a long breath I dropped myself into the darkness of the lake.
With that came a powerful roar of the creature and the thing what I was afraid of most had happened.
It didn't kill me after I crashed into the wall, not because of kindness but for the creature like him. I was too weak to make a move second time but me diving in its lake finally made him angry.

When I look down I can't see anything, just a faint twinkling of light fell on my eyes . I instinctively try to use my right arm to swim my way to the light. I have lost too much blood. I can hardly see anything now but the last thing I saw was a white ball of light coming from futuristic like thing.
Then I lost my consciousness.

I said with a heavy heart I knew it was too late to save him, even I tried to save him I can't
