DURING JUNIOR COLLEGE
The 15-year-old Zee is with her mother, in her bedroom. They are talking to Alex's boyfriend over the phone.
"Hello, Alex, how's your boyfriend?" asks Zee's mother.
"He is alright, do you want to talk to him?" Says Alex.
"Yeah!"
"Hey, how are you, Ma'am?" asks Alex's boyfriend.
"I am fine. Are you both good together?" asks Zee's mother.
"Yeah, we do! It's all good here!"
Zee's mother casually talks to her older sister's boyfriend while throwing some personal questions at him with a smile, and Zee looks at her with a hope for the same acceptance for her in life, Zee's mother hangs up the call after she finishes the chat with him.
"Mom, you don't mind her living with him?" Asks Zee.
"No, it's all cool. I trust Alex!"
"Oh, so you won't mind me having a boyfriend, too?"
"No! Of course not!"
"Okay!"
