The classroom is silent. Sam, Jimmy, Andrew and other classmates are writing exam. Sam sees the wall clock and see's, it's 11:30 and he has an hour more, but he gets up and submits his answer sheet to the supervising teacher and rushes outside the exam hall. Jimmy and Andrew look at each other in confusion. The clock it's 12:30. The last bell rings, Jimmy and Andrew, along with other classmates, submit their answer sheet and leaves the exam hall.
Andrew and Jimmy discuses about Sam in the campus.
"Jim, what do you think where he has gone in such a hurry?"
"Might be any personal reasons for family issue something like that!"
"I don't think so because if it was about his family, he would have told us!"
"Why don't you call and ask him?"
"Yup, guess me should do that." Andrew takes out his cell phone from his bag and calls Sam.
Sam doesn't answer the call.
"He is not picking up. Let me try again!" Andrew re-dials Sam.
"Hello, what happened? Why are you calling again and again?"
"Why did you run from the exam hall? is everything alright?"
"Yes, I'm with Megan."
"You fool! You left the test mid-way because of her. Are you out of your mind?"
"No, actually she was in a problem!"
"Everytime?"
"Ugh, This it was serious. She was talking about taking her own life, Andrew, so I had to run here!"
"Is she alright?"
"Yeah, bye." Sam hung ups the call.
"What happened, dude? What did he say?"
"Nothing, it's just his karma."
2 WEEKS LATER.
Sam is waiting for Meagan and her cousin Bella in the central park with his sister Darby and her friend Vinne. Megan and her cousin walk to their bench. They greet each other with a hug. It surprises Megan to see his sister and Vinne with him. Sam introduces them.
"Megan, this is my friend Vinne, and Vinne, here's Megan and her cousin Bella."
"Hi!" Vinne greets.
"Hello!" Megan and Bella greet them too.
They all walk together and while munching, Vinne, Darby and Bella are together while Megan and Sam are just right behind them.
"Who was the girl who called you at 3a.m while I was on the call with you?" Megans asks Sam.
"Oh, she was Mary!"
"Who is that bitch?" Megan gets skeptical.
"Excuse me? Mind your language please, she is my friend!"
"I know all your bitches you have. What was the need to call you at 3a.m?"
"She was drunk. She called me intoxicated. Her siblings intoxicated her and don't you cuss them, they have helped a lot to shape me, For your Knowledge Mary is motherly she treats like I'm a 7-year-old they all treat me as family, brother and you are here talking shit about them, I'm sorry but you can't talk like that about her."
Megan makes a puppy face and feels sorry.
"I'm sorry honey, Actually Bella's boyfriend cheated on him and she was telling me about that when we were coming here so, even I got a little skeptical! sorry!"
"Yeah, that's okay, but please mind your words next time. By the way, did Bella get admission to any college?"
"No, her scores are really low!"
"Okay!"
"Sam, do you remember that guy who sends me flirty texts and proposes to me after every three days?"
"Yes, what happened to him? Did he realise his mistake?"
"No, now he is doing it daily basis, he is getting on my nerves"
Sam nods his head. "Give me your phone for a second!"
"You not going to abuse him over call."
"No, I won't call him. Just give me your phone. "'
Megan gives her phone to Sam. Sam unlocks and opens her contact list and blocks that guy and returns her phone.
"Here, you go!"
"You blocked him!" Megan unblocks that contact, "you don't have to do this, he is my dads's friend's son, I can't block him!"
"But he was troubling you!"
"No, just say you are jealous, Sam!"
"What? No, you just said he is getting on your nerves, so I did it for you!"
"Just leave it. " Megan walks ahead and joins Darby and others, while Sam walks alone behind them.
After walking for few minutes, Darby tries to mock Sam.
"Megan, why don't you tell him to join dad's business rather than doing this films and shit?"
"Well, he loves writing and all, but it's a different thing is failing at it, don't worry, I guess he will join your dad's company"
Sam was listening to them while following them.
"Yup, you right."
"By the way, Darby, why did you bring him along with you? He was not needed," Says Megan while laughing.
"Yeah, you are right, Sam, just like attention!" says Vinne.
"Yeah, lonely guy. I mean, why even is he following us?" Megan looks at him laughs.
Sam gets hurt and parts his way from them and takes a seat on the park bench. Megan notices him and follows and sits right beside him.
"What happened?"
"Nothing, just enjoying my lonely time!"
"I'm sorry, I was joking! Please, don't get upset!"
"I'm not. Have fun with them. You will get to know them!"
Megan takes out her phone. "Take it block him!"
"No, you said he is your family friend and it might cause a problem for you and I don't want you to think I'm jealous of him or something like that. You go have some chat with them"
"What the hell is wrong with you? I'm trying to convince you, but don't you understand, you stay here with your ego, I'm leaving fuck off, Sam!"
Megan walks away from Sam. Sam tries to stop her.
"I'm sorry Megan, but I wasn't angry or jealous, I swear!"
Megan takes her cousin with her and walks at a pace. Sam runs behind her, apologizing to her. He holds her and stops her, but she slaps him with the other hand. Sam gets startled. Megan walks away while everybody in the park spectates them. Vinne, Bella and Darby gets shocked. While others laugh at him.
Megan walks on the edge of the central park river, Sam gets scared and asks her to stay away from the edge.
"Please don't walk there. You might fall, please. Listen to me once!"
Sam pulls her by her left hand. She tries to get his grip loose, but her watch breaks and gets in Sam's hand. Sam gets scared and Megan gets more angry,
"Oh, I'm sorry, I can fix it for you!" Sam's hand shakes.
Megan Snatches her watch and throws the watch on the concrete grounds and shatters the glass of the watch.
"Let's go, Bella!" Megan leaves central park.
"What tantrums she is throwing?" Vinne says it to Darby.
Sam gets ashamed and he cannot face people, and everyone laughs at him.
A WEEK LATER
Sam is at his home with Jimmy. The door bell rings and Jimmy gets up to open the door. He sees Sam's dad on the door and invites him in.
"Come in Mr. Vincent"
Mr.. Vincent walks in with rage and slaps Sam. Sam falls down and looks at his dad!
"What the fuck is wrong with you?"
"What happened, dad?"
"I'm fed up with your shit. I need you in my office tomorrow. Do you understand?"
"I'm sorry, but I can't come there. I don't understand your work!"
"Oh, I know who is speaking this, this attitude huh, even that bitch doesn't respect you, and you still have this audacity to deny me, remember even that hoe is interested in my money and status not you, she can find hundreds of people like you, tomorrow at my office!"
Mr. Vincent leaves his house!
TWO WEEKS LATER
Sam is at his home with Jimmy.
"Where is Andrew Jimmy? I have the next script for our new project, dude!"
"Ugh, Andrew has changed Sam, when you were working for your dad, Andrew teamed up with Steve, and his short film won, since then he has developed and ego and pride, so he said being with you, we will only get failure and nothing else, so he moved out!"
Sam gets shocked "What!!"
Jimmy nods his head.
Sam's phone rings. He picks up the call.
"hello, Megan here!"
"Yeah, Megan, I will see you in an hour!"
"No, Sam, I'm breaking up with you. I don't want to see you again!"
"Why? what happened?"
"I don't love you anymore don't call me again!" Megan hung ups the call
Sam calls her, but she doesn't answer the call and blocks him.
Sam drags himself to the bedroom.
"After that, she asked her new boyfriend to talk to Sam, but Sam was rigid saying he is not her boyfriend, he abused Sam, but am answered him smiling, and then she never called or texted back as far as I know, III moved to texas after a month when he was still depressed, II thought he will move on from her, I shouldn't have left him." Says Jimmy to Zee.
"He didn't tell me about all these incidents. Anyway, thank you"
"Your, welcome"
Zee gets up and leaves the table.
"Hey Zee," Jimmy calls her. Zee stops and looks behind. "Please take care of him, please!" Zee nods and asks, "Wanna meet your friend?"
"Yeah!"
Zee shows him two flight tickets and smiles.
They both fly to New York.
