The next morning, as Peter Parker rides in the back of a limo, Deadshot the hunter shoots out the tires, causing it to crash. Peter stumbles out, as Deadshot, along with Killer Rex, and a Mercury villain named Captain Boomerang, slowly approaches him. Kraven aims his gun at Peter's head.
"Won't screw it up from here." Kraven says.
He shoots him, but the bullet has no affect on Peter.
"Oi, Kraven, why are you using blanks!?" Boomerang asks.
"I'm not, you idiot. This isn't Peter Parker. The scent is all wrong." Kraven replies.
Spider-Bat then drops down behind him.
"Right where we wanted you." Spider-Bat says.
Peter Parker stands up to his feet, revealing that he's actually Captain Krypton, disguised as Peter Parker.
"Oh bollocks." Captain Boomerang says.
Peter quickly takes out Captain Boomerang with a flying kick to the face, as Clark flies at Killer Rex and tackles him into an abandoned building. Peter and Kraven have stare down, with the hunter smiling.
"It seems I have another chance to mount your head on my wall."
"You've had multiple chances, Kraven. This will be no different than the last."
Deadshot quickly draws his guns while Peter rushes towards him. As bullets start to fly, Peter jumps into the air, and throws a batarang that slices through one of Deadshots guns. Peter drops down behind Kraven, and when he turns around, the hero flip kicks him in the chin, knocking him off balanced.
He then starts to land multiple punches in Kravens face, making him even more wobbly. He then lands a solid uppercut, dropping him to the ground for good.
Seconds Later, Captain Krypton comes back, carrying an unconscious Killer Rex over his shoulder.
"This guy packs a punch. How did you beat him the first time?" Captain Krypton asks.
"My body was taken over by an alien symbiote that increased my strength, but made me more violent." Spider-Bat replies.
Captain Krypton snickers
"Sounds about right." The Captain says.
At that moment, multiple government trucks quickly pull up and surround them.
"What is this about?" Clark asks.
Peter thinks to himself for a moment.
"Not sure. But I guess we're about to find out."
At that moment, multiple soldiers with unrecognizable uniforms come out of the trucks, followed by a woman in a pants suit.
"We'll take it from here. These criminals belong to us." The woman says.
"Belong?" Peter questions.
The soldiers begin taking the unconscious criminals into custody. As they are about to leave, Peter stops the woman.
"Who are you people?" Peter asks.
"That's a national security matter. And if I were you, I wouldn't probe the situation too closely. Rich boy." The woman says.
Peter's eyes widen as the mysterious woman and her troops soon leave the area. Clark soon walks over beside Peter.
"You heard that, right?" Peter asks.
"I did. Who was that?"
Peter glares.
"I don't know. Yet." Peter replies.
Later that day, Spider-Bat, Captain Krypton, and Lois Lane meet on top of the Daily Planet.
"And this woman just swooped in and took them? Just like that?" Lois asks.
"Just like that. Even knew that Peter was Spider-Bat."
"You're kidding. Is she married to a superhero too?"
Peter smirks.
"That doesn't matter right now. We did good today." Peter says.
"That's true, intergangs entire operation will be done once I publish everything I've covered. It's pretty extensive. Business leaders, a few prominent politicians..." Lois says.
"Who?" Peter asks.
"Do you have a Daily Planet subscription?" Lois asks.
"Of course." Peter replies.
"Then you can read all about it in the morning." Lois says.
Peter and Clark smile at the comment from Lois.
"Come tomorrow, one of your personalities can leave the house without fear of being shot." Clark says with a smile.
Peter shakes Clarks hand, and puts his hand on Lois's shoulder.
"Thank you. Both of you. I won't forget this." Peter says.
"You sure you don't want to stick around for awhile? Lois and I would be happy to have you and Andrea over again." Clark says.
"Sorry, I can't. There's something I have to do. But Andrea said something about lunch Thursday." Peter says.
Clark is confused then looks over at Lois.
"Figured it be good to spend some time with another couple that's similar to us." Lois says.
Clark smiles, and when they look back at Peter, he is already gone.
"I'll never understand how he can do that." Clark says.
Lois chuckles, hugging her husband as they look up at the bright sky.
Later on in New York, Andrea sits in the cave as Peter swings in. Andrea hugs Peter then takes off his mask.
"Are you ok?" She asks him.
Peter smiles, holding her hands.
"I am. I'm sorry for making you worry."
Andrea smirks.
"I fell in love with a superhero. I knew what I was signing up for."
"Yeah, but I didn't think you had to worry about Peter Parker and Spider-Bat. That night I got shot, I should have gave you more warning. I wasn't thinking about how it would affect you."
Andrea stays silent for a moment.
"Just tell me... will this end someday? Will the bloodshed, the sleepless nights, the pain you put yourself through... will Spider-Bat end someday?" Andrea asks.
Peter doesn't answer for a moment.
"I wish I could tell you yes, Andrea. But the truth is- I don't know. I don't know if this city will ever not need me in that mask, swinging through the sky, putting my life on the line... All I can promise, is that I will do my best to try to make that dream into a reality." Peter replies.
Andrea stands there for a moment, then smiles, putting her hands on the side of Peter's face.
"That's all I needed to hear. Just promise me, every night you wear that mask. You come home to me."
Peter smiles.
"I promise."
The two then start to kiss, and as they do Ben comes down. He sees what is happening and immediately walks back upstairs.
