Dray eyes opened slowly, his visions were blurry and he could feel a sharp pain on the side of his head.
The ceiling above him seems to be spinning or was it just him that's not okay.
"Aarghhhh" he moaned quietly, rubbing his temple where the pain seemed to be coming from.
'how did I end up here' he thought
'Why do I feel so weak'
His visions had become clearer now, he could now see where he was.
'How did I get here' he thought
He was in his room
The room had a high ceiling with beautiful tapestries pasted on the wall, there were few stuff in his room. It was almost like no one was staying there, the room just had a bed, a table and desk and the tapestries that were pasted on the wall.
He had no idea how he ended up in his room, because he was pretty sure he had been out.
He placed his hands on the bed,so he could use it as a leverage to sit up.
While he was doing that he was trying to remember how he had ended up in the room, as he did his head began to hurt him more but he didn't care.
Memories of the last event began to flood in and that was when he realised why he's in so much pain and why he had found himself on the bed
"Nephenia!!" He growled quietly
That was when he realised the human that was sitting on the edge of the bed staring intently at him, she seemed lost in thought though.

Nephenia had brought Dray home, although she found it difficult carrying a bigger human. She had succeeded in bringing him home safely.
She had no idea why she had knocked him out, she just wanted to convince her self that she could beat the beat the BIG BAD GUY. She was tired of Dray taunting her, so she acted without thinking further.
Now she was feeling guilty.
'Was the blow too hard'
'Will he be okay??'
' What if mother and father arrive while he's unconcious, what do I do then??' She asked inwardly.
Different thoughts were running through her mind, as she carried Dray home.
As she got home, she place Dray carefully on the bed and dressed his wound gently.
' If only he's this calm' she thought as she dressed the wound.
' I hope he gets better' she had finished dressing his wound and seemed worried, she just sat there staring at Dray lost in her own thought. She was worried to Death and hoped he got better soon
"Nephenia!!"
" Nephenia!!!"
" Oh!! Dray"
She was brought back to reality by Dray who had been calling her.
" What did you do??"
" How did I get here??" Dray asked
" I carried you" Nephenia replied
"You weren't that heavy after all" she continued
Dray who was still weak kicked her as that's what he could only do at that moment
" Ouchh, what's that for" Nephenia asked runlbbing her arm, where Dray had kicked her.
' Even while weak,his kick still hurts' she thought, rubbing her arm.
" I don't know" Dray replied
" Maybe for rendering me unconcious in the middle of a fight" He continued.
" Well it wasn't my fault I did what I did" She said.
"I Just had to do what I....." Nephenia had stopped halfway as she had heard something
" Go on..."
"Sssssshhhhh"
Nephenia interrupted Dray, as she placed her index finger on Dray lips.
Dray who was confused removed her finger.
"What's that??" He asked whispering.
" I thought I heard something" Nephenia replied, standing up slowly.
" Wait here"
" I will be right back" She said as she turned to leave.
" Eeeeeiiiiiii" Nephenia squealed as she got to the door
Dray who had been resting on his bed for startled and turned towards the door where Nephenia had headed.
His eyes had grown bigger, his pupils dilated as he was surprised at the two people he was seeing.
" Mama....Papa" Nephenia screamed happily
Dray couldn't find what to say, he just sat there speechless
' I'm supposed to be looking out for Nephenia' his face flushed in embarrassment as the thought of him playing the reverse role.
' Why're they here this early,I wasn't expecting them soon ' he thought .
" We weren't expecting you to arrive today Mama" Nephenia said aloud.
' My thought exactly ' Dray said in his mind.
Serena sits besides Dray holding him close to her as she saw he wasn't in such a good form.
Dray wasn't one to like it...
"Ugghh"
The two older ones both looked at each other sighed then turned to the younger ones.
Darcy cleared his throat.
" Uh...we are to leave for awhile" Daryc said
"We came back to let you know that we will be gone for awhile " He continued
Nephenia looked at both her parents then at Dray
" What do you mean you will be gone awhile?"
" Where are you going to?" She asked confused
" And we can't we go with you....atleast why can't I go with you?" She asked now more confused than ever
Dray scoffed .
" Well uhmm..." Serena cleared her throat and continued
"We have this task we have to deal with which might...."
" Yeah about that, I feel we should tell them" Daryc cut in.
He places his hands on her shoulder gently, she looks up at him and nods affirmatively.
" Tell us what??" Nephenia asked
" Well there have been rumours about some stuff, some say they've been seen monsters"
Then Neph had a flashback about the one they recently had an encounter with.
" There have been Cries in most villages Neph" Daryc continued
" And we have to go find out if the rumours, the causes and even the monsters is real" He said
'Ofcourse they're real, I got Dray unconscious because I wanted to kill one to prove myself that I am not that bad' She said inwardly.
"So you're just gonna leave us??"
" What if one comes lurking?" She continued
" Nephenia, none will come near!!" Dray said from where he laid
"Trust me...if any does I will protect us"
'Well you couldn't the last time' she said inwardly
She scoffed.
"Ofcourse you will" Daryc said smiling
" Make sure you both cooperate, you are siblings not rivals" He continued
" If anyone hurts one of you, you're both hurt and don't forget all we have been teaching you"
They both nodded
"May we meet again " He chanted
" May we meet again!!" The others replied.
