16 YEARS LATER.....
In a large field, servants could be seen working tirelessly in the scorching sun with their backs bent and in fear of being beaten by the guards.
They were all in tattered clothes, their hair messy.
Some of the servants were being whipped if any little mistake had been made while some were being scorned but still the servants still worked heads bent low.
"Halt!"
Some one had shouted.
They all stopped what they were doing immediately on recognizing the voice and turned to face the person who had shouted, right in the middle of the field stood a tall burly man in complete armour. His hair completely shaved, a scar ran through his completely bald head to his temple.
Some of the servants trembled on sighting him.
" Today we are here to punish a filth who I think would be better dead."
" Two days ago we had caught him peeping at Her Lady's room"
The servants gasped.
" We will bring him out here to teach him a lesson and also to serve as a deterrent to any of you who has or would want to follow in his footsteps "
" Master had ordered us to kill him but due to the pleas of Her Lady, we will give him a proper treatment "
He signalled to the two guards who were standing beside him, they left on cue.
Whispers could be heard round the field as the servants were scared of the victim as they all had an idea what might happen to him.
The whispers stopped as soon as they saw the two guards coming but this time they were dragging someone, their hands holding the boy each and they dragged him without concern.
The boy who was being dragged wore a straight firm face, he showed no facial expressions as he was being dragged towards where the scarred face man stood.
"Tie him up " he instructed and the guards did as they were told, tying him up.
The boy clothes were tattered and stained with blood all over his back it was obvious he had encountered the worst in the last two days, his hair was messy n sticked to his dirty face.
One of the guards stretched out his hands to give the scarred face man an iron rod with tiny spikes at the tip.
" This should prevent any of you from doing anything except what you're being told to do" he said holding the spiked iron rod high.
The servants swallowed hard as they pitied him.
The scarred face man raised the spiked iron rod high bringing it down with full force towards his back and the sound of iron hitting flesh could be heard.
They all gasped in unison.
The boy who was forced to kneel showed no emotions as he was beaten brutally.
The guard who had seen this had increased his pace and added more force and soon blood began to seep from his back staining his tattered clothes again.
" Stop what you're doing right now" a feminine voice was heard.
On hearing the voice, the scarred man whose eyes was already bloodshot stopped and face the owner of the voice.
" Milady" he said bowing his head, the servants and guards copied him and bowed their heads in unison.
Afront him stood a young girl of about 16 years old, her bright hair shined brightly, she was on a blue resplendent gown matching her blue dazzling eyes.
" What's happening here Brila?" she asked softly.
" I was punishing this filth Milady "
" I thought I had made it clear with Father to leave him be, why do you still punish him?"
" Milady your father..."
" Take him to the healer to take care of his wounds" she interrupted.
" The rest of you can continue with your work" she continued ignoring Bila then left the field.
The other guards rushed to help the brutally beaten boy to the healer.
Bila gritted his teeth in anger, he wasn't done punishing the boy.
' What a spoilt brat why couldn't you allow me have my fill of the punishment'
The guards who were supporting the beaten boy walked past Bila, looking at the boy who was bleeding he saw his lips curved into a smile and his blood boiled
' You Think I am done with you Keran, just watch and see....next time she won't be here to save you' he scowled.
