"we broke up. I got kicked out too because I was being too much, my mental health just got worse and we ended up fighting over and over!" Sidharth started speaking, his tears were threatening to fall again, Sidharth always had a bad luck with love and relationships,
" it's okay sweetheart you don't have to explain yourself, let's go inside...it's fine you can stay as much as you want here. oh almost forgot sorry Victor! I was hoping I get you inside or a cup of tea but I feel ashamed now I'm going to have to send you back empty-handed." I said to Victor who was quietly watching me and my brother,
..... chapter begins.....
..... Victor's pov:
" Absolutely no need to apologize Miss Aleeza, I completely understand. well if you excuse me! I will remove myself and grant you and your brother your privacy, you two need some family only time apparently." I immediately replied to Aleeza, to be honest it was obvious she was overwhelmed with everything going around her lately, but it was not my place to interfere.
Unless she requested my assistant, I cannot force my help on her.
I stood out there for a while making sure she closed her door before I finally headed back to the car.
I made it to where I parked the vehicle, as I opened my car door, I lifted my head up.
I could see The windows from Aleeza's apartment from where I was standing, as the curtains were pulled away it was easy to see that no one was standing at the window.
" this day could not have gotten any worse." I murmured to myself, my phone in hand checking if I received anything.
to my surprise there was couple of messages that I have received from Videl,
as I opened my messages, the first one popped up, written in all caps.
" DON'T TRUST HER! DON'T TRUST ALEEZA SAHA! SOMETHING ISN'T RIGHT ABOUT HER!" I read the message Videl sent me in confusion.
[it was quite bizarre, I'm pretty sure Videl liked Aleeza? why is she telling me not to trust her now?]
I lifted my head from my phone, I was again finding my gaze to be directed at the windows from Aleeza's apartment.
only this time, she was there. Standing at the window was Aleeza, I could surprisingly see her clearly, due to the fact that her apartment was in a low level, so I waved at her a goodbye signaling that I was about to leave.
it was then when something did not add up, instead of waving back or smiling like she does, she just closed the curtain, something about her expression seemed quite odd.
She looked grim.
I did not like the feeling I received from that expression, I had second thoughts about leaving this place, in fact I was actually ready to knock again on her apartment's door and ask if she was okay.
However, my gut feeling advices me otherwise, and I abandoned the thought.
I got into my car, closed the door and pulled out my phone again. I decided to check the rest of the messages Videl has sent me.
( reading phone messages)
( Videl) message 2 : "The twins told me some stuff about her, I really don't know if I like that Chick or more like fear what she's planning! She's SUS!"
(Videl) message 3 : call me when you receive these messages Zain, that if she didn't kidnap you.
( Videl) message 4 : did you drop her at her house? dude call me!
( end of messages)
"Zain? why the hell is she using my middle name?" I said to myself, because my name is Victor Zain Zomierski, everyone calls me by my first name Victor.
Most people would forget that Zain is also my name, even I do that sometimes, but it was odd that Videl called me by that name.
Driving away from the complex, I called Videl to inquire about what the hell those messages were about.
the phone barley rang once on the other side and She already picked up the call.
(phone conversation)
Videl : My GUY took you long enough!
Victor : I swear Videl you keep testing my limits, now what seems to be the issue?
Videl: listen Victor, something isn't right about that girl! I know this is weird but I think she might be a nutcase.
Victor: Do not disrespect Aleeza that way Videl, She has done nothing so far but offer a helping hand.
Videl : I know Vic, but listen after you guys left I talked with the twins, Vivek and Vishal were chatting together in your house.
Victor : did I not give clear instruction for all of you to leave Vivek alone until I speak with him?! What the hell were you doing there?
Videl: I was already there because I saw something fucking strange man!!
Victor : *sighting* what did you see?
Videl : listen, so I knew beforehand that Aleeza went to your place where you suspended Vivek so she can try and talk to him, the thing is I saw her the exact moment she was walking towards the house.
Victor: and what seems to be strange about that?
Videl: Vishal, she was following Aleeza close behind, Vishal probably wanted to eavesdrop on Aleeza and Vivek's conversation so I also sneaked up without any of the girls noticing me.
Victor: *shouting* OKAY WTH?! I SAID NO ONE GOES THERE TO SEE VIVEK WITHOUT MY PERMISSION EVEN IF IT WAS HIS SISTER VISHAL!!
Videl : calm your butthole dude! she had her reasons okay?! cut Vishal some slack! you said it! he's her brother of course she's gonna worry the fuck about him!...damn anyways,like I said Aleeza went in to talk with Vivek and Vishal was sneaking inside as I assume to go listen on to their conversation, Vishal used the back door and she have hid herself somewhere inside the house... I decided to move closer to the windows to see from outside into your House. I hid myself very well too, man I was pretty sure nobody saw me. I was able to discover where Vishal hid herself and shortly after, Vivek and Aleeza who were speaking to each other began having a fight.
Victor : get to the point.
Videl : shit fine, minutes later jalebi girl comes out. Sis, I mean Aleeza looked like she's mad shit at Vivek! she was screaming at him I heard it well and then she slammed the door behind her...the problem was that the moment she closed the door, her angry expression quickly went blank!! fucking poker face amigo! Aleeza was looking like she didn't just scream her lungs out at Vivek and on top of that she did something else too!
Victor : indeed, This is out of ordinary. then again we don't know exactly who Aleeza is yet, a background check might come in handy and we can't just judge her fully until then... anyhow Back to the subject, what else did she find?
Videl : Vishal came out, she scolded Vivek and the two started fighting together...as for Aleeza, she walked away from the house enough to make you believe that she's leaving, then she turned back to the house and followed Vishal's exact previous steps, sneaking in the same way into the house Vishal did to eavesdrop, and then homegirl hid herself listening to the twins talking to each other just like Vishal did earlier!
Victor : *dumbfounded* excuse me? you're telling me that Miss Aleeza sneaked in same way Vishal the stealth expert does?! and not just that, but none of the twins detected her?! that is an impossible thing to believe Vidal.
Videl : seeing is believing and I saw it with both of my goddamn eyes, my vision is 20/20 hun I ain't lying, I know what I saw. Miss Saha is far from ordinary and I betchu that she must've felt my presents at some point, because Aleeza was hiding inside the house then suddenly she looked directly at the window I was checking from, I hid as quickly as I can but I have a feeling she might have seen me I'm not sure.
Victor : and you waited until I drove her back to her home before you tell me this? Why did you wait till now Videl?!
Videl : because the fuck, that bullshit she pulled on us wasn't the only thing wrong that happened, and remember this I didn't tell anyone else, you're the first to hear it from my lips.
I didn't tell any of the twins about what I saw, however after you went to drive Aleeza back home, Vivek told me something else that happened yesterday after we brought everyone back from the party.
Victor: carry on with it.
Videl : after we come back from the botched party and everybody settle down in the living room chatting up and shit until you told everyone to go to bed, so I went to bring everyone some night clothes as presumed, pyjamas to wear to bed and I made sure to give each Guest a distinctive nightwear as you requested.
Victor : she wore hers I presume?
Videl : yes, I gave Aleeza a pink nightgown dress I found, I gave Alex a t-shirt and a pair of blue shorts, and Leon was handed a velvet pyjamas set.
Victor : so everyone was wearing their designated nightwear and went to bed, what seems to be the problem again?
Videl: Aleeza never went to sleep. At first I checked on her, she remained seated on her bed listening to some crime podcast, I knew the podcast very well so I stroke a light conversation with her about it, from a fan to another.
As I was about to leave her room, I asked her if she needed anything and she requested a snack and a sketchbook to doodle on, so I quickly brought her one of my empty sketchbooks with a pen and some chips. She thanked me for it and I left her to her privacy again. it was then when I decided to go to sleep because I was fucking whooped for the day.
Victor: I assume the twins remained awake then?
Videl: Only Vivek did, Vishal actually fell asleep, that's why Vivek had a serious hard time waking up this morning.
Victor: I see, did he see something?
Videl: more like someone, Around almost 3 am, Vivek was walking back from the garden when he noticed something. he wasn't sure what he saw at first but he said it looked like a person was walking inside the mansion just around the entrance. that someone must've realized Vivek was around and they hurried to the kitchen. and wouldn't you know it! when That lavender head went to check the kitchen, he found the lights on and Aleeza inside shoving food in her mouth with her sketchbook under her armpit.
Victor: As strange at that might seem, she maybe wanted another snack and couldn't find anyone to help her? I mean you said it yourself Videl, you were asleep, Vishal was also asleep and Vivek has just came back from the garden outside.
Videl : the possibility is there, but it wasn't her being in the kitchen that stood out...it was the sketchbook.
Victor: the sketchbook? what did Vivek witness?
Videl: Vivek says that Aleeza made sure not give him a chance to look at the sketchbook, at one moment when the sketchbook wasn't under her armpit, She snatched it immediately as Vivek tried to glance at what she was drawing, but he did see something major anyways.
now mind you Victor when I first gave that sketchbook to Aleeza, u asked her what she wanted to do with it and her answer was to sketch some outfits, she loves fashion designing as well as I do.
Victor: let me think, what Vivek saw wasn't an original design?
Videl: right on the money honey, Vivek didn't seem to care about what he saw but he told me that as he glanced at the page that was open in the sketchbook, he saw lines, arrows, squares and notes he couldn't well read due to her cursive handwriting, Vivek thought she might be an architecture student or something.
Victor: arrows? lines? wait do not tell me?
Videl: yes, if we're thinking the same thing, she was most likely drawing an interior map of the mansion. Aleeza must've made sure that no one patrolled the hallways and then started checking rooms one by one. We never had a rule against walking around after bedtime for guests Especially not if one of us was patrolling , but I don't think a night walk should evolve drawing a map of the place you're in.
Victor : Videl *sighting* this is unusual, I have to agree, but so far I do not believe overreacting will do us well. I believe we should not be judging Miss Aleeza very soon, I think she might have good intentions behind what she did. Did Vivek tell you anything else?
Videl : I know she's a sweet looking girl but that behavior is sus, and no Vivek said that nothing else happened, Aleeza took a snack and went back to her room
Victor: if she did try to draw a map, I would assume she couldn't finish it up, since she can't enter every room and the mansion is too vast to be easily and quickly scanned by her.
Videl: I don't think she left her room after she ran into Vivek, and to be honest what made me confirm the fact that she did probably draw a map or at least roamed the place last night, was when we went this morning to search for Master Alec-Zander when he went missing, Vishal said that Aleeza knew her way around while searching with them inside the mansion.
Victor : do not worry yourself Videl, I will have a chat with Miss Aleeza about her behavior later on, whatever happens do not tell any soul about this! never speak about what you told me to anyone else until I say so, as for Vishal I won't question her on why she went against my orders but this is the last time I'm going easy on her.
Videl: fine I guess, what about Vivek? are you gonna keep detaining him in your house?
Victor: send him to his room, tell him that I do not want to see his face or see him work until he formally apologizes to Alec-Zander for slapping him.
Videl: copy that, anything else?
Victor: do not send me messages like the one you did earlier, and please refrain from further consulting me on matters like these unless we do it face to face. phone conversations are only for emergencies, refrain from wasting our time.
Videl: you never change do ya? Zain?
Victor: why are you suddenly calling me Zain? just use Victor, it is my first name after all.
Videl: although you look and sound like a Victor, your way if thinking is a like a Zain, you must really like that girl.
Victor: I am hanging up, go back to work and be useful. *hangs phone*

Frustrated enough, I hanged up on Videl.
to be honest I was absolutely not sure how to consume these new informations.
Aleeza up till this very moment was nothing but a sweet angel, yet Videl painted a more sinister side to her out of the blue.
as I drove I found myself continuously thinking about her, I cannot help but to smile endearingly remembering how I actually enjoyed my time with Aleeza yesterday, the very thought of her made me warm within my chest.
I knew what I was feeling and I dreaded the thought, I did not aim to be falling in love with anyone, as it would only lead to disaster.
yet, remembering what Videl shared with me of information, maybe just maybe, I'll allow something to happen this time.
unlike Videl, I'm not feeling bad towards Miss Aleeza infact, there was something about this new discovery that has appealed to me.
Aleeza Saha, the girl who appeared seemingly out of the blue, challenged Rodrigo, a man she knew nothing of And help us out when we never expected it.
Just from these incidents, you can tell that she's far from ordinary.
I can tell she's not the type I want to be on her bad side as well, and maybe she is exactly what we need, if there is anything we are in need of at the time.
it would be another wicked mind.
Smiling to myself, I continued driving back to the mansion, my head felt clearer the more I drove faster.
