The Revaluation Test started today. It took place in the Hero Arena. An arena located right next to the Hero League headquarters.
The Hero Arena could hold up to ten thousand people. It was a perfect place for the first Revaluation Test.
One thousand heroes took the reappraisal test, and two thousand people took the evaluation to become a hero.
Standing in front of the Hero Arena, Xu Lingxun's face was covered with nervousness.
He had just passed the physical test, and he and nine hundred and ninety-nine people had passed the first evaluation.
They were now directed to the Hero Arena for the next evaluation.
"Finally, it's our time to shine!" Completely different from Xu Lingxun, Kang Dong-Woo was excited and looking forward to the next evaluation.
He still had his dream, only the people he looked up to had changed.
He still wanted to be an Emperor Class Hero, to protect his sisters from all dangers, and he wanted to prove to his father that he could grow strong without the help of his family.
Kang Dong-Woo said it out loud as he raised his two hands. Such an action would surely attract the attention of the surrounding people.
"What are you doing? People are looking at us now!" Xu Lingxun pulled Kang Dong-Woo's clothes. He was quite shy, especially since they were much younger than the other participants.
"Huh? Kids can become heroes now?" A man who looked to be in his twenties commented after hearing Kang Dong-Woo's cry.
"Don't you know that the Hero League has lowered the age limit to thirteen?" The young man's friend replied with a shake of his head.
"Wow, the new president must be desperate to even accept children!"
"But aren't they amazing? They pass the first test!"
A thousand people were eliminated and the best thousand were chosen.
"Tsk, these kids must be using their family's connection! There's no way these spoiled brats could pass that ridiculous test!"
The young man and his friend were not far away from Kang Dong-Woo. He could clearly hear the conversation and it made him angry.
"I'll beat them so they know how strong our family's bond is," Kang Dong-Woo really wanted to approach the young man and his friend.
They made fun of him, and not only that, they also made fun of his master.
Kang Dong-Woo could not let them go like that. He wouldn't let them go until he punched them in the face.
"No! Don't make trouble for Master! We just need to prove our strength in the evaluation," Xu Lingxun had known Kang Dong-Woo for almost a year.
He knew his friend's temperament well, so he immediately pulled Dong-Woo into the arena with him.
The young man and his friend looked at each other before grinning. Both of them were still looking down at Kang Dong-Woo and Xu Lingxun.
Xu Lingxun pulled Dong-Woo into the arena. As soon as they entered the arena, they were greeted by the surprised staff.
There were ten staff members at the entrance of the arena. They were surprised by fifteen year old teenagers who were about to enter the arena.
Looking at their outfits, it was obvious that they had come for the evaluation. While the other nine staff members were stunned, a male staff member approached Kang Dong-Woo and Xu Lingxun.
His eyes were sharp as he spotted the Heero Academy logo on the martial arts outfits.
'They must be the rumored fourth and fifth direct disciples of President Xing, Kang Dong-Woo and Xu Lingxun.'
"Welcome to the Hero Arena, we are the staff to help the participants with the new evaluation system," the male staff greeted with a slight bow.
"Hello," Xu Lingxun returned the greeting with a slight bow as well, "We are here for the Hero Evaluation.
"I know," The male staff smiled and showed a book titled "Monsterclopedia", "Do you have a smartwatch? If not, we can give you this book as the next evaluation related to hunting mutated beasts. There's a new big update and you'll need this for the review."
"We have a smartwatch!" Kang Dong-Woo showed his wrist, "But we already have the Monsterclopedia app in our smartwatch."
"Good, then you need to update the app to the latest version. Please follow me, I have to update the app manually as we haven't released the new update to the public yet" The male staffer led the two to a table with a computer behind it.
"May I have your smartwatch for a moment, please?" The male employee asked politely.
Kang Dong-Woo and Xu Lingxun handed over their smartwatch without any suspicion.
"What's new in the Monsterclopedia?" Kang Dong-Woo could not help but ask. He was curious as to why the Hero League did not update the app publicly.
"You will know eventually, but I can also tell you. Most of the ranks of the beasts are being lowered," the male staffer put the smartwatch on the device that was connected to the computer.
The male staff clicked a few times, and then he just had to wait for the update to finish.
"What about Fiendish Mane, will his rank be downgraded as well?" Xu Lingxun was surprised by the new update. Usually, an update added newly found mutated beasts.
"Hmmm, let me see!" The male staff opened his smartwatch and searched for Fiendish Mane. The male staff knew the horror of this Fiendish Mane, and it was understandable for them to ask.
"Ah, Fiendish Mane's rank has been lowered to Gold Class 1-Star. This means that Fiendish Mane is a lower ranked gold class monster," the male staff informed them.
Kang Dong-Woo and Xu Lingxun were surprised. One of the top ten most dangerous monsters was now only a low rank gold class monster.
"Ah, the new update also includes the Specter Rank, all Emperor Class Beasts have been lowered to Gold Class and more new Beasts have been added," The male staff summarized the update for Dong-Woo and Xu Lingxun.
Beep! Beep!
As the male staff finished his explanation, the update also finished. He took the smartwatch and gave it back to the two of them, "Good luck with your evaluation."
"Thank you," Xu Lingxun took the smartwatch and entered the arena together with Kang Dong-Woo.
As they entered the arena, there was a large crowd. They were all participants in the Revaluation Test and Hero Evaluation.
They picked an empty corner as they started to check out the new update. They all had the same thought.
Although they were the center of attention, they ignored it and looked at their smartwatches.
Since they were young, they were bound to attract people's attention. To avoid the embarrassment, Xu Lingxun checked the new update.
The new rank of the male staff that was being talked about was God Class. There was one that was included in the God Class. It was a creature called Goun, the half-human, half-goat.
It did not specifically classify the creature as a god-class monster. But in the description, it said that it could potentially reach God Class. They scrolled down and found that the new update was more like a list of beasts with their description and potential threat.
Just as they were about to scroll down, a familiar voice filled the arena.
"Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen~!"
Kang Dong-Woo and Xu Lingxun looked at the voice. They saw their master enter the stage with a friendly smile.
Both of them immediately closed the application and turned their attention to the stage.
"Today is the day of the joint evaluation, and I will not take up much of your time.
For those of you who have the smartwatch, you can download the Official Hero App and you will receive a mission from your app!
Complete the mission given to you by the app and report to the staff at the front!"
"For those of you who don't have the smartwatch, you can request the mission from the staff! It's that easy, and I wish you good luck!"
Heero was about to end the speech, but he remembered something.
"Oh, I forgot to tell you that you are not allowed to attack or even kill the other participants! We have eyes on every one of you and if we find out that you break the rule, a death penalty for killing and a severe penalty for attacking!"
With that, Heero left the stage. He left the participants stunned by the punishment.
The competition was a normal thing at such an event. But now that new rules had been made, there would be less competition among the contestants.
Kang Dong-Woo and Xu Lingxun were not affected by the rules. They never wanted to get in anyone's way, and all they wanted was to complete the mission.
Kang Dong-Woo opened the official app and registered an account. As soon as he completed the registration, a notification appeared.

He tapped on the notification and the mission appeared.
