Merlin and Henry seemed more than happy to see me alive. I looked at Alastair who was standing far away. He understood what I meant. He walked to the other two men sitting in front of me.
"Corporals, they are old friends. We should give them some time," he looked at me and the other two.
"Sure," the Corporals seemed fine with that. I understood that Henry and Merlin had been doing a good job and earned the respect of other soldiers. Otherwise, there is a high chance for the Corporals to make a fuss about it.
Soon. Alastair also walked out of the room, leaving the three of us to talk. But none of the two immediately started. They looked too overjoyed to speak properly immediately.
Suddenly as if he had remembered, Merlin called my name, "Victor, about Her Highness...."
"Yes, I forgot that," Henry continued. Now I creased at them. "What about Her Highness?" I questioned.
"You must have misunderstood Her Highness that day," said Merlin.
