"Great evening, Commander," suddenly the monstrous voice echoed in the dining hall. I turned towards the door with a frown. A man who I have met that afternoon was standing by the door, almost covering the whole entrance.
"Oh, Your Grace! Forgive me. I didn't see you before," he bowed. He must be General Ben, the one who would be joining us for the dinner.
I nodded at him in acknowledgement. "Great evening, Ben. Have a seat," Alastair called that man who was twice as the age him by his first name. I felt uneasy at his behaviour but Ben didn't seem to really mind it.
