"Rangers... I don't think it's them," I slowly shook my head.
Most of the faces around the table showed nothing but disappointment. The environment suddenly more obviously turned into me against each and every soldier under the roof. According to them, it was an easy puzzle where I failed to find the obvious answers. Some of their faces showed doubt. Some of them showed contempt. There were a few douting faces who were wondering if I was really on their side or not.
Even Arthur was looking at me as if he couldn't believe what I just said. Still, his face showed none of the three of the previously mentioned emotions. Wat he had on his face rather looked like surprise.
"Why would you say that, Your Grace?" Arthur questioned.
"Where did you find these pieces of evidence?" I asked. "Were these shreds of evidence found beside the dead bodies of your fellow soldiers?" I questioned.
"Of course, Your Grace," A soldier replied.
