10 days had passed since Leon's requested the Duke about Lucas, which was denied in an instant because of many political reasons. With no proof, nothing could be done, and both knew it.
Wasting no time, Leon got into his business of mapping out stuff for the future. In the past few days, he had planned to use the iron mines of this region to for their own gain and to do that he needed to break some treaties which he was not capable of doing.
Most of the land filled with natural resources was under control of Arlets because of the contracts, but not every land was in their control. To the very north, near the town named Dewpoint, there was a mine for which Arlets had proposed a contract and James had eyes on it.
