Shiki glanced over to the dark haired girl who seem to be troubled as soon as Zachary entered the Arena. He could feel an immense magic from that man, making him alert.
Zachary has a strong presence even before, Shiki felt that too in the banquet. A tremendous amount of magic that speaks danger if he were to be angered.
"He figured it out, didn't he. . ." Shiki heard Luna muttered.
Given the fact that, that man had been subtly glancing over to this side of the arena made Shiki think that it was possible. His companion' masking was loose enough to see through. Zachary was also a powerful mage, it would not be that shocking for him to know.
". . .though, I am willing to help," Shiki heard Zachary said. Him? A man who leads a dark organization helping them? Why? "One of my favourite students of yours were abducted, of course I will be happy to help." He added flashing a smile to Clyde and Gillian who also was perplexed about the situation.
"This student. . .who exactly are referring to?" Gillian asked.
"Hm? Who else would it be if not the golden eyed child." He remarked proudly, as he take another subtle glance over to Luna.
Luna flinched as she completely hid herself within the two gentlemen standing in front of her.
". . .Although, I have another student in mind, infact, it is a student whom I wanna recruit."
Clyde and Gillian looked at him in perplexion, glancing over to one another. They knew a lot of magical organization had an eye for student to recruit within each magic academy. But they never had heard Zachary's organization recruiting from each academia. Their organization was merely focused on family recruitin, by gathering them in a baquent, in there, this man would know whom suited to get their attention and recruitment.
"Ah, that boy is also starting to get my attention," Zachary suddenly jerk his thumb ober his shoulder, pointing Shiki "He seems fun to train, he has potential." He added smiling confidently.
"You mean Shiki?" Gillian reaffirmed. That's two student. . . Moreover it was Zachary who was interested in them. She could agree that Shiki has potential, if he could just also focus on his magic rather than academics, he may surpassed someone in the Starlight Ranking.
When Gillian was given the position as a substitute, she obviously went through every record of Class A. As she had noticed, Shiki seemed to uninterested on enhancing his power, rather, he's leaning more to be academically inclined. It would be a lit better if his intelligence and magic are balanced, but as of now, his magic is rather lower than others.
Gillian thought that, Shiki would want to enhance his magic, to get it stronger. If she were in his position, seeing his mother die in front of her, that enough would make her feel motivated to train her magic and strength— yet, he didn't. This child just choose to be better at academics than magic.
She couldn't understand why.
The fact that he caught the attention of one of the most powerful dark magic users, tells that Shiki really has the potential to be one of the greats.
"Gather around children!"
Gillian's train of thought burst when Zachary authoritatively yelled as she then heard a groan from the students. Calling them children might've pissed them off.
"Today I, Zachary, shall be training you," he remarked smirking as the students mouth agape. "So better be prepared by a hell session of a training, brats."
"Ah. . Huh?! You? Train them?!" Gillian remarked, shocked
"Delightful!" Cylde intoned.
Gillian and Cylde looked at each other with two contrasting expression.
"What do you mean delightful?!" Yelled Gillian. How is Zachary teaching them be delightful?!
"He's a powerful mage, they'll be alright, besides, Mister already volunteered." Cylde replied, adjusting his glasses.
". . . Oh, then are you implying that you're a weak mage?" Gillian gave Cylde a teasing face.
". . ."
"Ha! Of course you're weak, unlike me who teach these kids magic, all you've been teaching them are literacy that they won't probably even use!"
". . .Take that back," Cylde irritation was becoming apparent, but unfortunately for him Gillian seemed to be liking this banters.
Meanwhile, the students— Daryll looked at Rei and Remus shaking their head as they watching their two professors childish banter, he could not help but sigh and mutters;
"I bet you two would be like them in the future."

Luna had been frozen for a while now as she had felt Zachary's presence on her back. Of all people, this man decided to approached her after getting the permission to train them. Luna knows that he already discovered her identity, but why must he do this to her. Is he planning on making her spill the beans?
She jolted when she caught Zachary looking at her with a teasing smile. But then averted his gaze to her side. To Shiki and Ezryn who was sparring.
"You." Zachary advanced towards Shiki passing by Luna who eventually heaved a sigh of relief.
A sudden smirk flashed acrossed Zachary's face as he was now in front of Shiki. "Spar with me."
