Two days had passed and currently, Luna and the group are within the Arena with Gillian and Clyde, training them.
"Woah! You just spwan a weapon out of thin air!" Rei exclaimed after witnessing a sword appear on Luna's right hand. "That's so cool!"
Oh, right. Luna hadn't shown anyone that she can use the 'Requip' magic. She knew it wasn't part of their training as senior one or was it part of their curriculum. She only had read it somewhere within the library and decided to learn it.
"Requip magic. . . I know you're one of the best students, but to think you can actually use that type of magic." Gillian approaches the other along with Clyde with amused expressions. "Did someone taught it to you?"
"No. I just learned it in a whim." She answered honestly.
There was no use lying, 'Luna' was already treated as a genius, it would be more logical to say that she learned it by herself rather than someone teaching it to her. But, well, she did in fact got a little help from Agapius by that time.
"Fascinating. . ." They heard Clyde muttered. "I've never met anyone other than Vaynesse, Remus's mother casted that spell." He stated eyes panning towards remus who was at the corner playing with the sands, making little figures as he plays with it.
"How childish," Rei snorted.
"He cute though~" Daryll singsongly remarked.
"It's unusual for you to join their group, Ezra." Gillian commented as she turn her attention to Ezra who was practicing aiming, who is with Shiki and Luna.
"Oh, well, I just got dragged a long the way. . . Somehow?" He answered unsurely.
But really, Ezryn was actually the onlh odd one out of Luna's group. The only people he had ever interacted with was the two; Luna and Shiki.
Well, he did also interacted with Rinalyn at some point in the past months when they were grouped up. And occasionally, Rei talks to him when borrowing something.
But he can't really say that he jad gotten close to these people from those mere interactions. He doesn't even know what Luna and Shiki thinks of him.
"Hmm. . . Your power seem suppressed." Gillian remarked when Ezryn went back on aiming the dummy meters away from him. "I've never really gotten close to you, but right now, I can see the mana circulatinuin your system is somehow abnormal, yet I can't sense why."
Ezryn felt a bit of panic when Gillian approached him closer, observing him as if she could see through his soul. He knew that professor's here shouldn't be taken lightly, but no one ever dared to drectly say that to him since he got into Starlight Magic Academy.
All Ezryn could do was laugh it off awkwardly.
"Hey come and spar with me." Suddenly shiki approached Ezryn as he called him.
"Oh! That would be nice!" Gillian exclaimed parting Ezryn as she cheer him on.
Whoosh!
"Hey!" Daryll yelled in panic as an ice oick was thrown to his direction.
"Opps, sorry!" Yelled Rei apologetically.
Like Ezryn, Rei was also practicing her aiming to a dummy and unfortunately Daryll was apparently close behind it.
"Wouldn't your friends get suspicious when you and Rinalyn finally switched back places? I sure know she doesn't possess that magic." Clyde stated, closely watching Luna trying to switch weapons in seconds.
". . ."
Right. That would be a problem, how stupid of her to just casually show everyone that magic.
"That cat beast of your can just wiped out certain memories." Cylde stated.
Huh? Wipe out memories? Such a thing exist?
Thinking back it, the semester is nearing to end. It felt like it had already been a year, but only just a half of it still.
"Ah, right, Everyone!" Cylde suddenly yelled capturing the attention of the students. With an earnest expression, they all went to gather around.
"Is something the matter, Cylde?" Asked curiously of Gillian who came beside his subordinate.
Cylde cleared his throat before speaking.
"This situation may be is a serious matter, but what I'm about to say is a lot more important." Cylde started.
The students gulped, wearing their perplexed expression. Earnestly opening their ears to hear out this important matter Cylde is about to tell them.
"For your final term for me will be a role play with an indication of the ancient language, don't forget. This is also a contest for other class I'm holding on to, as they will also be doing the same. Be sure be prepared for it before the festival, for you'll be also performing it at the town stadium."
The students was rendered speechless, and Gillian wore a crooked smile.
"What the f*ck?!" Remus blurted out of the blue.
"Mr. Weinberg, do you want me to add a demerit on your record for your language?" Cylde warned.
Remus clucked his tongue. Still in disbelief of what this professor just said about telling them an 'important matter', just for them to get told about their final term performance on him.
"That's. . . Undoubtedly less important than this." Remarked Luna, which the others agreed.
They expected Cylde to get furious, but only to see him smirk; "Hmm. . . I'm not quite sure about that."
Perplexed as they were, the arena's door open unexpectedly, leaving everyone in shock.
That familiar black hair and red eyes, along with this oh so familiar heavy atmosphere that came along.
"Wha. . . ain't he Zachary?" Remus said bemused.
Zachary was smiling scanning the room as his eyes were eventually fixated to Luna with the appearance of Rinalyn.
A mixed of emotions flashed over Zachary' face that made Luna uneasy.
'Why is he here?'
