Chereads / The Antagonist's Revenge / Chapter 6 - Chapter 5

Chapter 6 - Chapter 5

Fear... It is so strong I can smell it. This is a nice smell, I feel like I'm smelling a cuisine when I'm hungry.

Their trembling bodies are still trying to resist me.

"But too bad...I'm not in the mood to play around."

"I-"

In a split second, I appear in front of Kelson and grasp his head.

"AHHH!!! ARGHHH!!! W-WAIT-"

Boom...his head explodes and blood splatters.

"R-Run! T-This guy is a monster-" says one of his thugs.

I immediately throw a broken pipe with a sharp edge at him, piercing the skull.

The others tried dispersing to increase their chance of survival but too bad...i have Kelson's skill now.

One by one, I sneak up to them using Kelson's Passive and slits their throat. They don't even have the time to scream.

And soon, there is silence.

I freed Lupus and carries her up.

Impressive, she still hasn't lost her consciousness. Normally, a human's mind will reject something unbelievable but at the same time true.

Looks like Lupus did think I'm a Z rank too. Otherwise, she would not have bought that many guards with her. I know she is not that stupid.

*tap* *tap* *tap*

This silence feels like isolation, I can even hear my steps.

"I'm sorry." Says Lupus.

"For what."

"... never mind."

She continues to look away from me but I don't care.

Reinforcement soon arrived and they took over the situation. On the way to Kins, I fell asleep the moment I step into the car.

--------

I wake up again to an unfamiliar pink, Yellowish ceiling, an unfamiliar pink bed, and an unfamiliar fragrance.

...I'm sleeping in a girl's bed again.

"Oh! You are awake!" Says Lupus.

...again? I see why Lupus and Lupis are siblings now. She's sitting on a chair beside the bed and I assume this is a bedroom in Kins.

Just to make sure though, I ask "We are in Kins right?"

She nods and smiles.

But that smile soon turned into a frown and she starts lowering her head.

"I...Am sorry! I thought that you are a Z rank and bought so many guards along. I know they are bound to attract attention and trouble but-"

"It's okay," I say. "What's most important is that you are safe?"

She smiles and kisses my forehead before leaving the room.

"When you are done resting, come out and turn right, go straight and you will see a lift, take it to level 2 and there's a food court there, mention my name and all the food there will be free." Says Lupus.

"Okay, thanks."

And she left the room.

...

...

ARGHHHH FUCKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Because I was so tired yesterday, I didn't get to enjoy that fucking scene!!! IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL!!! THE BLOOD SPLASHING EVERYWHERE AND THE HEAD EXPLODING!!!

...

HAHA...

I just want to tell myself that there's no point crying over spilt milk...

...

...*sigh*

Fine, screw it.

Anyway, this is another step forward in my plan. She now...probably starts to at least trust me and will listen to my suggestion at the very least. Now the problem is the prince of Kins. He will be my plan's biggest obstacle excluding Lupis.

The prince, Orland, is known to be a prodigy and he is also in love with Lupus.

I am not going to start a soap opera with him but I can use him to increase Lupus's affection against me.

No...in love is the wrong word. If Orland truly is in love with Lupus, why would he plot against Lupus?

I smirk.

This guy is planning something interesting.

"Sir."

A knight broke my train of thought.

I look at him and wondered if he has any good skills.

"The king would like an audience with you. The hero chosen by Kins will also be present."

The hero of Kins huh...okay interesting. I haven't met her in my previous life but I heard rumours of how strong she is.

"Okay," I say. "Lead the way."

Kin's humongous castle stands out in many different ways. Giant magic crystals are floating around, etc.

Kins is more economically developed than Lupis but Lupis is stronger when it comes to the military.

In the castle, there is a huge crowd. Many adventurers are registering for quests and some are collecting rewards. The biggest guild in Kins is created by the King himself with his daughter, Sylvia, as the representation of Kins. She is also the hero chosen.

I follow the escorting knight to the main throne and outside, Lupus is standing there sweating. She seems to have something on her mind.

Once she sees me, she smiles and waves at me.

"You are finally here! Let's go!"

From that point, nothing interesting really happened.

The King is surprising respectful towards me and that pissed Orland but he didn't do anything for now. Sylvia also did not show any sign of hostility towards me but she was staring at me.

So the king just addressed the issues about politics which I don't care for now and had a little chat with Lupis.

That's all.

I wanted to use the rest of the day to continue planning but something interesting finally came.

Sylvia is knocking on my assigned room door.

I open it and she says "I'm sorry for disturbing you at such a late time, may you please follow me...i have some things I want to talk to you about."

Suspicious...but okay.

I nod.

I sneak out of the castle with her to a nearby forest.

We walk deeper and deeper into the woods until she stops.

"This should be far enough."

she immediately draws her sword at me and her whole atmosphere changes.

"What's the meaning of this?"

"You are not a hero," says Sylvia. "Or should I say, your personality doesn't befit being a hero."

...

"What do you mean?"

"Stop trying to pretend. I can see through you. Your true personality is cruel and he enjoys killing a lot."

"And how do you know that?"

"I have a skill that determines the aura of someone. Your aura...is completely black."

I smirk.

"Thanks, that gives me all the reason to kill you."

That line threw Sylvia off and I immediately grabbed her sword and shatter it.

"You-"

I did a little punch to her stomach and she vomited out blood. Seriously...that was just a light punch.

I heard her armour and sword is made by a top-notch blacksmith but it's broken so easily just like that.

She falls to her knees and looks up with despair in her eyes.

"How are you so...strong?"

"You reap what you sow," I say while smiling. "It is your worse mistake, inviting me out."

I stare at her and think for a while.

"But on second thought, how about giving you a chance," I say.

"A chance?"

"I want you to agree with two conditions, the first is to sign a slavery contract with me and the second is to give up your aura perceiving skill to me, I will then let you live."

"...will you hurt anyone?"

"Of course not, at least not at the very moment. I don't kill for no reason."

I need to invest. This is the very basic of conquering the world. It is every Antagonist's dream but that's not exactly my ultimate goal...my goal is to wipe out this entire planet. I will not stop until every single fucking parasite on earth is killed.

Killing Sylvia will do me no good except obtaining her skill, I need to think further and not limit my train of thought.

"...Fine." Says Sylvia.

I smile.

I take a contract talisman and place it on the ground, I cut my hand and let the blood soak into the paper. It starts to light up and I hand the knife over to Sylvia. She hesitated but still did the same in the end.

And finally, to complete the contract, I bite my lips and forcefully kiss her.

The contract talisman disappears into thin air and a slavery mark appears on her chest.

"Phew. Alright, it's done."

Although I say that, Sylvia looks embarrassed by what she just did.

I grin. "Virgin."

"Wha-"

"That blood oath you made with me just now, don't break it. As long as you don't betray me, you will not lose your life." I say.

I may not look like it but I value the lives of people at my side a lot. After all, in my entire life, I rarely even have someone I can trust. I'm not saying that I completely trust Sylvia but...

"Let's go."

"To where?"

"Back of course! People will misunderstand if we stay here any longer. Oh yeah, and this." I give Sylvia a letter. "Read it secretly when you get back, that's an order."

The mark reacts to it and Sylvia has no choice but to agree.

"Oh yeah, check your status screen and you will notice that your aura perceiving passive skill is with me."

"...ok"

Back in her room, Sylvia also notices that...Akuma's aura has become gentler after the contract. That made her confused and she began to come up with many different hypotheses. Though this virgin seems to believe that Akuma is in love with her for a moment.

At the dining area, I signal Sylvia to meet me in my room secretly. She nods and did so.

"Impressive, no one was following you," I say.

"Of course. Now, tell me what's the meaning of this."

I smirk.

"You should know, right?"

"...I'm asking if the details of that are true?"

I nod.

"...What do you need me to do."

"Lure Orland to join a hunt with you into a dungeon, I will take everything from there."

"Tch."

"What?"

"I hate that bastard."

"Abandon your pride for me just this once okay?"

"...Fine," Says Sylvia.

Now then, before I reveal my existence to the world, I must gain control of Kins. The king...i hope you are someone that can entertain me.
