Being given the gift of regression and through the help of his adoptive father who provided him a direction that other regressors can only dream of.
Jack was perfect. Neither arrogant over his gift, nor greedy for more power.
To him, he had come to accept his new reality, not drowning in the sorrows of his past, like Alfin. Even if his earlier direction was a bit off, while he was attempting to fix the timeline. It didn't mean he would continue that mistake for longer
Or waste his time away in regret.
He understood what needed to be done and he did it.
And currently his goal is simple.
To end the oncoming destruction of anomans, who probably play a big part in this world's future that even he was not aware of, while finding other regressors like him. So that he can build up a newer team with potential to become gods.
Though, that was all far off into the future.
