Dain was born into this world thirty years ago to the leader of the Nushen. Or commonly known among the tribes of Danav as the Nymphs.
They were pure beings, which were sometimes worshiped as goddesses by some weaker tribes or dreaded due to their blasphemous act of controlling the spirits of the dead, against their will.
Though, some considered it a godly gift and came to them to meet their dead loved ones, once again.
But this reverence to them mattered to the Nymphs. Because these same people would never allow them to ever live with them, in fear of their abilities.
Which caused most Witches to live in isolation, among which, some of them created their own society of sorts.
And the Nymphs were one of them.
Though, the Nymph was closer to a slang to the Witches, than a name. They claimed to be descendents of Nushen, one of the four legendary gods of this world, alongside the mother of forest and controller of the seas.
