The world seen from the eyes and perception of the players was a lot more different than the truth. For what they witnessed was a reality constricted by their system and ignorance. The majority were here for entertainment and didn't care about the realities and lives of the natives.
What drives the natives to move forward? Why do they fight so hard in a ruined world? And what is going in the mind of these NPCs?
If they had asked this question in the past, Alfin would have learned a lot of things about the true reality of the NPCs and why an organization like UTENA was able to grow so fast and so big.
And why someone as kind and honorable as Robin still chose to work for them. If Alfin had known the things Robin witnessed, the carnage and brutality of the Variant humans. Then he would have been a bit distrusting of Robin.
