The players were in a rush to accumulate experience and gain higher levels as fast as possible. As to the players, only with higher strength would they monopolize the upcoming event to the fullest.
This caused the eastern barracks to be livelier than usual with jeeps coming and going out at a regular speed.
There were even multiple outposts built towards the savage land by the players, making it easier to supply rations on the route. Which would have been greatly appreciated by the soldiers and people that always desired to see the territory of humanity grow.
Sadly these are not normal times and these rash actions of players were looked down upon by the majority of the soldiers that were still worried about the upcoming plague.
What many people considered fear-mongering by Wilkis earlier turned out to be true, there were already many different parties announcing the existence of this plague and the danger it posed.
