Eating the meat skewers in Thorn city. Girisia, now called Alfin, made a satisfied expression on his face.
"Today's skewers are really good." Alfin relished the meat as he dipped the meatballs on the chili dip.
"So it worked. It was my missus' idea to add something special and it seemed to have worked." The man said proudly. Not intending to speak of what this special something was and neither did Alfin ask.
"You are a lucky man," Alfin said, washing his face with the water from a clay pot on the side. "Please pack four more plates for me."
"Of course Doctor."
It's been six months since Alfin came to Thorn City. And the identity he used to enter the city was that of a doctor.
Though it's not like Alfin lied about his identity. There was no need to lie about his skills, the support from his Geneticist creation skill made it harder for anyone to question his medical knowledge. And then the backing from Riber city removed any suspicion the Thorn City officials had about him.
