"Dead... All of them." A woman in a dark suit walked on the land where Yoshikov had his last stand as she murmured under her breath.
Finding the place was not hard for her. The large part of the forest that has turned to dust after the nanite explosion in the wake of Yoshikov's death has made this place a landmark of sorts.
The woman meandered on the field as her body kept releasing gray dust in the air that turned invisible as soon as they mixed with air.
"Where are you, Tia?" Her cries were dampened by the cloud above. Which responded to her with thunder.
After finding nothing in the vicinity, she moved ahead.
A few minutes later, she felt it. The blood-bond that has existed since her sister was born was just a few meters away from her.
"There you are." The woman's body turned to dust as she reappeared over the loose land.
"So this is where they buried you?" The ground parted on its own, piece by piece. Her heartbeat increased with each patch of dirt removed.
