After receiving the report on the first phase of the conflict, Shen Congfei returned to his office, watching his wife, busily handling affairs from across the table.
"Do you have nothing better to do?"
Xia Wei seemed rather helpless; having someone sitting opposite her indeed made it harder for her to focus on her work.
"Hmm..."
Shen Congfei emitted a nasal sound, deliberately letting it linger.
"If you have nothing to do, why not help me with some paperwork?"
Saying so, Xia Wei pushed a pile of documents towards him.
Unexpectedly, Shen Congfei nodded in agreement.
"Alright."
This surprised Xia Wei. The method that always worked before to persuade him away had unexpectedly failed this time.
Shen Congfei took the documents, then put them all down:
"Done. I've finished processing them."
"What?"
Xia Wei was stunned, then picked up the paperwork that he had claimed to have processed, and took a look.
They really were all processed; he hadn't been joking.
