Chereads / A Gamer's Bloody Revenge. / Chapter 21 - Chapter 21

Chapter 21 - Chapter 21

They lead me to the meeting point planned in Polem city. Along the way, I killed every obstacle and let the two loot them because it is useless to me.

These two thugs look like delinquents. They both have a tattoo on their arm and a scar on their face...what do they think they are? Putting on such ridiculous "accessories".

And their name is Leon and Lim. Leon is the bigger one and he was guiding Lim just now.

...

I can detect several players ahead.

"Woah...there's a lot here, you sure you can take them all?" Asks Leon.

"Of course, their level is only around 40 to 50."

"What's your level?"

I glare at him.

"Alright alright! Sorry for asking." He backs off.

...

I look back at them and smiles.

"Thanks," I say before pointing my blade at them.

"Wait! This is not what you promised-"

I beheaded both of them.

They are troublesome and brings me no benefit, only chaos. Might as well take care of them first before they plan to take revenge. Leon, that guy, is terrified of me. No doubt that he will turn his back on me one day...everyone in this game is almost the same...

I'm on top of a building right now. Their meeting spot is in the building opposite, I can see approximately 21 players.

Looking below, the monsters have already spawned on the streets and some are even monsters capable of flying...like that gigantic fly behind me...he is evolved...this reminds me of fallout, I was quite addicted to that game and if memory serves me.

I take a rifle and place a silencer on it. Aiming at the belly, the fly charges towards me and I shoot.

Oh shit! Missed.

After emptying a whole magazine, I finally shot the belly and the fly explodes.

...

My aim is damn bad...yeah I don't think I should use guns anymore unless it's necessary.

Guns are just not my thing because of the recoil and aiming and other factors!

Besides, using a sword has many many more advantages to a gun. Like for example, if you run out of the bullet, a gun becomes a useless chunk of iron...or metal and if used properly, a sword can slice even a boulder.

I sigh.

I can slice a boulder, a tree, possibly a small mountain if I train hard enough...but...what will that bring about? Nothing. In modern society, swordsmanship is useless. My jobless and pathetic state is proof.

*papapapapappapa*

?

I can hear shooting sounds from the streets. I peer down and see Silverfish standing in the middle of a group. The group is fending off all the monsters around while Silverfish just sightsees. Damn pig.

Heh...this damn game knows exactly what i want...

From stage 2 onwards, the game will create mini-tasks depending on the user's environment or status or anything that could affect the user. This not only motivates the players but also give them a clear goal.

However, sometimes, the system will misinterpret our goal so we should not blindly follow every mini-tasks.

I should move on.

I'm on a construction site right now and it is twice taller than that building so I climb my way to the top of a crane.

Damn, the breeze would have felt nice if only there wasn't any sand with it.

I tie a rope to the tip of the crane and tie the other end around my stomach. Like a daredevil, I jump down towards the opposite building and just before I hit the roof, the rope yanks me up due to force and I waited till it calms down before cutting the rope and landing on the roof safely.

Ugh...i feel like puking because of that rope...should I tie it to my chest instead? Nah, It will slip off.

Among the commotion, I slip into the crowd gathered and waited patiently.

Silverfish soon kicks the door down and appears with another group of players.

...

You pig...use the door, that's the purpose of a door, it's not even locked.

"Hmm...i see everyone has gathered here after seeing my announcement in the game forum right?"

Oh? He advertised for a raid in the forum?! What the heck!! Hahaha!! That's dumb!! Did he never think of the possibility of his target seeing that announcement!? Wow! Hahaha!!

"Good. As you have seen in the video one of the players uploaded, the way he fights is terrifying and I am very sure each of you wants to eliminate him because he is a huge threat to us. But rest assured, with our numbers, we are sure to defeat him even with those two women..." Says Silverfish.

I hear he have a good ability to create a speech despite being a douche bag.

But...

"But what do you plan to do with the two women?" I ask.

"Oh? You seem familiar oddly..."

...good that he doesn't remember a player he met 4 hours ago. I was with Reina and Ika last time.

"Anyway, for the two girls...leave them to me." Says Silverfish

...This bastard.

"What are you going to them?" I ask.

"It's none of your business."

"Oh, it is-"

"Look, do you want your money or not?" Shouts Silverfish.

...

"If you do, just shut up and do as I say, Kel."

...heh..damn bastard...i will not give you a painless death.

"Good." He says after noticing my silence.

"I have found out that the girls of his team are in this city so he is bound to go past this area. Let's prepare for our ambush." He says and started ordering people around.

Ambush huh...yes... let's prepare for MY ambush.

-----------

After waiting for 5 hours...

-----------

*ti* *ti* *ti*

It's my watch ringing, indicating that it's now nighttime. Monsters become very enraged at night so it's not advised to travel.

Although, you do get more exp.

I look at the others. They are getting tired and some are falling asleep.

Silverfish came up with a plan

We will prepare three areas of ambush. B is the construction site. C is the gathering and meeting area which supposedly is an office. A is a small apartment.

The small apartment and construction site is directly next to one another while the office is across the street.

B will be in charge of scouting for me since there are cranes and it's higher than A and C.

A will be the first wave of ambushes and if they fail, they will launch a smoke signal to the sky and players in C and B will charge in.

Truth be told, It's quite an effective plan.

B will scout, A will act as "Decoy" and C will hold the main force.

Those in A are the weaker ones so after defeating them, it will make me drop my guard, thinking that my enemy is weak.

And...being one of the "noobs", I was assigned to A.

The other nine assigned are all level 10 to 18 and they all are dozing off.

I smirk and quietly assassinate each of them with my dagger.

I cover their mouth and slits their throat...
