Chapter 1
This story began simply. In a house of ordinary colour, in an ordinary neighborhood. The front of the house was wide covered with green grass and containing some toys for children. A large tree with luxuriant ornaments seemed to bend over to listen to the laughter and the joyous noise emitted by the dwelling. The driveway went to the back of the house where the pink door seemed to invite us into the house.
The bright living room with visibly worn furniture, having lived their life with a family welcomed us. A child about four years old, maybe five years old, passing by laughing half-dressed. A mother chasing him disguised as a pirate, screaming that she would not let him escape. Next to the sofa, a baby in a sleepsuit and two short ponytail standing looking at the stunned scene. The child laughed even louder after narrowly avoiding being caught and jumped on the sofa, making his little sister laugh.
- AH! AH! I have the treasure, HA HA HA! All sails out, don't let the pirate queen catch us.
He bent down and took the girl in his arms, sitting her between his legs. The little one tweeted with pleasure. The pirate laid her fists on her hips slightly annoyed and sighed, defeated. She passed a hand in her hair while biting her lip, visibly in full reflection. The woman took off her eye patch and hat to put it away. She heard her son recount his adventure with her little sister. Who was more than happy to be on a boat facing a kraken.
Their mother went to the kitchen to prepare a snack consisting of different sandwiches and fruits that she carefully prepared. The woman carefully placed it in a picnic basket. With a falsely insecure voice, she announced.
- I wonder how I am going to do it now that my children have gone on a trip.I thought they had a picnic at the park and even bought ice cream—
She sighed exaggeratedly by looking into the living room to observe their reaction.
The little one raised his eyebrows with a big excited smile. He looked at his sister who cried at the same time.
- 'Aaaark! ' Aaaark!
- Mamaaaaaan! Lizette is not ready to go out at all, can you come and take care of it? I'll go get dressed okay?
Lizette came running (as much as a toddler is able to run without any control at all) and stretched out her hands for her mother to take her. The mother took her child with a groan. And mumble : you come heavy my baby. She dressed her little princess in her room and her son came to see where her mother's preparations were at. He did his best to help him because he was eager to leave. Rey'ha thanked him by telling him that he is the best of little boys. After coating the children with sunscreen, she took the diaper bag and directed them to the car.
She fastened the baby in her seat, while observing her big boy who fastened the belt more or less clumsy.
- Bravo Nathan! You can do it without my help now.
- I'm a big boy now, Mom!
He smiled with pride and held his pink teddy bear in his arms. His mother sat down and said in a solemn tone.
"We're going on an adventure!"
Arriving at the park, the children rushed to the sandbox and immediately began digging and building mountains. They worked as a team happily. Nathan grew bored and went to the swing. After a while, Lizette wanted to go and join him. They both swung with the help of their mother.
The sun went up into the sky and the bellies of the little ones protested and they asked their wonderful mother to eat. She took out a blanket with adorable animals and laid it on the ground and invited her little loves to sit down. She took the food out of the basket and offered it to the young people. The picnic began and they ate with greed and pleasure, their mouth messy. The little girl barely finished her bite exclaimed:
- Sssocolat!
By pointing to the little shop that was facing the park. After picking up the basket and throwing away what was supposed to be. They were heading the place of envyof the kids. Their mother bought a chocolate ice cream and a strawberry ice cream. The little one sat at the table, the baby on the woman's knees. The cornet was just finished, the smaller noding exhausted.
- It's nap time, obviously.
His son raised his head and frowned, really not very happy with the news.
- I don't want to go, he exclaimed , with anger and tapping his foot.
-I know, big boy, but your little sister must sleep," she replied with a compassionate air.
He looked sulky with his arms folded and followed his mother with his feet dragging, beating the objects in his path. After making sure the little ones were safe in the vehicle, she resumed in a light tone.
-Do you want to do a craft or a drawing for Dad? I'm sure he'd like you to show him your adventures today.
His eyes lit up, but he pretended to be still angry. They arrived home and Mom put Lizette to bed, Nathan had already prepared everything to create drawings and crafts to show Dad his battles and successes of the day. The afternoon passed quietly, Mom doing household chores.
Nathan and Lizette were having fun building a tower together and Mom in the kitchen preparing the meal when Dad arrived. The children rushed into his arms at last… his legs. He took them in his arms and kissed them tenderly.
"I missed you my little loves! You were good?"
They agreed, and Nathan showed him his works on the table of the sitting-room. The man sat down and began to make the little one jump on his lap by listening and looking at the works of his son. The mother watched them in the corner feeling blessed to have such a wonderful family.
When Nathan finished telling the story of his day, he left the children and told them that he should now pay his respects to the queen of the house. He went to his wife who, despite several years of marriage, always blushed when he was charming her.
- Red always looks good on you, Rey'Ah.
He kissed her gently on her lips, making her smile and feel so loved. Nathan hid his sister's eyes by shouting one: EWWWWWWW.
"Good evening, I missed you my love."
"I missed you too, you know."
"I see you have done MY household chores," he said in a critical tone.
"You made mine this weekend."
"That's not a reason, you still have to rest. Aren't you too tired?"
"Not today, I'm in great."
"Don't do my chores at the moment, the doctor says you still have to take it slowly. You're not fully recovered."
The evening passed and they put the children to bed, tucking them in after telling them a story. They listened to the TV together, huddled together. They finally went to bed and kissed one last time wishing each other good night.

Rey'ah
My eyelids were heavy, much like after my surgery. I felt trapped in my own body, so weak. I had trouble moving one finger… And the pain. The pain, my whole body was a huge chasm. My breathing was laborious. I wanted to open my eyes, but it was impossible. I was exhausted, I didn't understand what was happening to me. I was exhausted.
I felt the sun on my eyelids and skin. It was a blessing, so comforting, tears flowed from my eyes. I didn't think I could feel it again…
What???
Why couldn't I have felt it again? It made no sense. I heard voices, which made my ear open to listen to them. People were speaking in an unknown language. I felt a piece of cloth wipe away my tears with such tenderness that my heart squeezed. A voice seemed to address me, full of anxiety. A hand came to caress my cheek, fingers a little rough, scaly? A touch so unusual, but at the same time familiar.? I would have liked to take this hand and tell him that I am fine, not to worry. New tears left my eyes, tears that were not mine, and pain in my soul that was completely foreign to me. And I fell into unconsciousness again, exhausted already only by his feelings that pervaded me.
