Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Birth of the second sun.

After 900 years, Japan would celebrate the birth of its 100th heir.

The halls of the palace were filed with the happy mummurings of the servants and the screams of the empress as she gave birth.

"The prince is here!!", one of the servants shouted out in a joyous tone to the other servants from the doors of the royal bed chamber.

Afterwards the emperor picked up his son as the empress laid on the bed resting, to present him to the Japanese people and as soon as he was revealed to the Japanese people they cheered loudly, "All hail the Prince, may his life be long and fruitful, all hail the second sun!!!" And as they cheered the emperor lifted him up and the Prince burst into flames in the emperor's hands as custom when an heir is born to show the power and might of the royal family.

Immediately afterwards the Japanese people bowed to the new prince of the Japanese empire, for it was fore told by the ancient oracles that the 100th heir would be the new sun that will light a great new evolution in Japan.

Festivals were held for weeks in his honor and were larger than any other held before, for the birth of an heir.

The prince was to be named Akihiko Yamato.

The seven shoguns from the four provinces and territories of Japan came bearing gifts for the prince and to swear their allegiance to him. The shogunate was established by Emperor Go-Toba as a way to keep order in Japan and protect its people and nobles. It became the most powerful military force even trumping the military might of the poles.

The top and most powerful shogun was Tokugawa Ieyasu of the Tokugawa clan who kept the northern province of Japan and its territories. He is known for having almost eradicated the Emishi, the barbarians of the north during the Great Honshu siege. Remnants of them still exist in hiding, craving the blood of those drove them to near extinctions.

The second in command was Masako Minamoto of the Minamoto clan who kept the southern province of Japan and its territories. She was the wife of the first shogun, Minamoto no Yoritomo. He was killed by his wife for control of the Minamoto clan.

The third in command was Ashikaga Takauji of the Ashikaga clan who kept the western province of Japan and its territories. The most vicious of all the shogun because of his substantial mercilessness in training and in battle.

The fourth in command was Oda Nobunaga of the Oda clan who kept the eastern province of Japan and its territories. A brilliant military tactician.

The fifth in command was Toyotami Hideyoshi of the Toyotami clan who kept the islands surrounding Japan and its territories.

The sixth shogunate was disintegrated because several years prior they rebelled against the emperor and empress. They had kept the people of Japan as their personal protectors and were based in the capital.

The seventh in command was Fujiwara no Kamatari of the Fujiwara clan who kept the royal family as there personal protectors and were based in the capital.

As these Shoguns gathered in the great halls of the palace, they surrounded Akihiko and bowed down to swear their allegiance to the new born Prince. They brought gifts of gold and rare animals to be kept as pets for Akihiko. Even giving him some of their best warriors and servants as tributes.

These Shoguns act as beacon of strength and hope in Japan and are revered by their people. Their armies consist of millions of warriors ready to die for the Japanese Empire.

"All hail Amataretsu, all hail Tsukiyomi and long live the Japanese Empire."
