Kaede checked his watch for the eighth time in the last two minutes, his frown so deep that it would definitely etch permanent lines across his forehead. Three minutes left from the appointed time and Moshe hadn't summoned him yet.
This was both expected and unexpected.
Unexpected… because Moshe hated tardiness the most.
And expected, because he was having a reunion with his pet, a long overdue reunion. No one but Kaede knew clearly how cranky Moshe was for the past six days. He was only slightly in a good mood every morning when he had to… cough, supervise what his pet was up to. And after that, his mood would plunge deeper than the Mariana trench. Kaede almost made a warning board in front of Moshe's office door these days, something like 'beware of any sharp claws' or 'today is boo-boo day' to warn everyone of their Boss' mood.
